Focus is the most useful Skill in this game. Do you know that Focus has synergy with some Talents?

TL;DR

Tap Focus for Cost Reduction. (Battle Mage/Prismatic/Utility Flow)
All Skills cost 35-50% less EP.

Focus

Enter a meditaive stance, which greatly increases EP Reg while slowing you down. While using Focus, your EP will regen 70-100% faster. If you hold the button for 2 seconds, you'll become Focused. While Focused, the first Spell you cast will cost 50% less EP.

I think most players use this skill for EP Reg. It's not wrong to use it when you run out of EP. It is a proper use. However, Focus has a more important use: Cost Reduction. Cost Reduction here does not refer to "Focused". Do you know that Focus has synergy with the following Talents?
-Battle Mage
-Prismatic + Elemental Specialist
-Utility Flow

For Melee build

After casting a Spell, using a Melee Skill costs 50% less EP. (Level Max)

The name of this Talent is misleading. We assume that a Spell means Offensive Magic. In fact, this Talent is triggered by all Magic, including Utility Skills. Yes, Focus is a Utility Skill. And it costs 0 EP. AND most importantly you only need to use it for a moment. JUST ONE TAP.

Tap Focus. Congratulations! You get 50% Cost Reduction.

In addition, this effect lasts until you use a Melee Skill. How useful! It is incredibly EP efficient. You should take this Talent if you fight with Melee Skills. Spam Melee Skills and Focus. If you run out of EP, hold Focus. Perfect!

For Magic build

After casting a Spell, using a Spell of another Element costs 35% less EP. (Level Max)

The icon of this Talent is also misleading. We assume that only Elemental Magic is relevant.
Now you get it, don't you? Focus triggers this Talent. You'll get 35% Cost Reduction.
Note: This Cost Reduction only applies to Elemental Magic, not Utility Skill.

However, using Fire and Ice Magic also trigger this, for example. What is the advantage of using Focus? The answer is below.

Elemental Specialist

Increases Spell Damage by 0.75 for every Skill point spent on the same Element. (Level Max)

If you use 2 Elements for Prismatic and damage source, you need to invest in each Element.
On the other hand, if you use Focus for Prismatic, you can invest in the same Element.

For every Utility Skill cast in a row, EP Cost decreases by 15%. (Level Max) Stacks 3 times.

Yes. Focus triggers this Talent.
Tap. Tap. Tap. You get 3 stacks. 45% Cost Reduction. Cast 4 buffs in a row.
This Talent is effective for both Melee and Magic builds.

Melee Skill -> Battle Mage + Focus
Elemental Skill -> Prismatic + Elemental Specialist + Focus
Utility Skill -> Utility Flow + Focus x3
