This worked for me...
Something with Windows Bluetooth breaks up the controls on this particular game.
-Connect the controller with a USB cable to PC
OR...
-Purchase a wireless adapter for Xbox controllers. You must first UNPAIR the controller from PC Bluetooth (if already paired via Bluetooth...) Then pair the controller with the adapter.
