Intro.
Got bored of pulling arrows out my back when I am not archer so I made this guide.
Tips.
Best tactic for archer is to shoot from sides/higher or both to avoid shooting team.

A risky tactic is to hide behind enemy team and get sneaky head shots but be ready to leg it if you think the kill knows where you are.

Long range archery is useless best to keep it mid to low range and be stealthy about it.
Use cover cause any second another archer could be loosing arrows at you.

When shooting enemy archers and you get the kills best to switch your spot cause they'll be back for blood.

Your bow can we used in melee with overheads and stabs, just remember to dash, jab and kick.

Retreat from melee unless you good with hatchet. Melee is not your class.

Axes are better due to hitting harder than short sword.

Short sword requires many more swings, you do not have enough stamina to use it as archer.

If enemy is charging you resist urge to try to shoot them point blank, jab them and switch to melee weapon.

A decent tactic is to be crouched whilst shooting just fire quick and your stamina will be fine.

Set a key for cancel attack to cancel your arrow shots.
Using the console key (tilde) above tab is great.
Just remember to disable console in gameplay settings.

For throwing weapons using tab or caps lock is much better than G.

Closing comments.
Don't lock yourself off from a 1/4 of the game due to the archer hate.
Going archer for a bit is great when you start to get bad at melee and gives you some focus back.

Be wary of archers who face you with bow but don't shoot but have lots of cosmetics.
They may just destroy you with bow melee. :D

Dont quite get why so many people hate archers to begin with.. At least we're honest and open about shooting em in the face (and can be easily blocked with shields, or straight countered with swords hitting arrows out of the air)

Gud guide though! You did forget to mention however, that the only thing scarier than a level 1000 knight, is a level 600 Archer with their melee out. An archer with Melee, who knows what they're doing, are a fucking nightmare in combat. Simply because the low stamina requires far greater skill to remain in the fight, especially with the sword.

Another good tip, at least for those wanting to fight archers, is this:
If an archer seems oblivious and has no cosmetics, they are probably new and free food.
If an archer has cosmetics in general, especially better looking ones.. ..prepare to get your ass handed to you, these are not free food. These are skilled players who know what they're doing.
