Kaugsaare (Semi-Inhabited Version)

Kuvaus
Attention! This mod has been updated since its initial release. If you want to play on the classic version of the map, see the Internet Archive link at the bottom of this description.

A three-island archipelago, with sharp coastlines and moderately rugged hills. Except for a single customs area and an old airfield, only sea connections to other nations are possible.

Based loosely on the Saaremaa and Hiiumaa regions of Estonia.

This is the Semi-Inhabited version of the map! All village houses have been removed from the map, except for a handful of tiny villages. See Workshop Item #2616441553 for the fully inhabited version.

The North Sea, late 1959. Bolestered by the recent Cuban Revolution, the brave comrades of the island nation of Kaugsaare cast off the shackles of their monarchist oppressors. A Revolutionary Government is formed, with the aim to advance all people rather than just a wealthy few. The Western powers denounce the uprising, claiming that 'Soviet Interests' are working to seize the islands' natural resources.

Are they right? Will Kaugsaare be led into freedom, solidarity, and prosperity, or be driven further into exploitation? It's up to you, Comrade Director.
