@Cruentus this screenshot is part of a guide for those who feel the need for minmaxing, because they struggle with food production. Therefore the caption. I agree that the town can look much more beautiful without resorting to such methods. That's not what this screenshot is about, though.

No, you should not. There is no need whatsoever to min/max in this game. This is not Anno, this game is build for beauty and creativity.

That's the maximum yield when the burgage plot hits level 3 and houses 4 families, though. Before that, it is less. Simply because the pantry size cannot hold as much before level 3.
