Crafting Materials
So, there are 3 basic materials that you get in crafting:
  • Blueprints
  • Durables
  • Recipes
Blueprints
Blueprints are the pieces that determine what kind of weapons you get from crafting. There are currently six grades of Blueprint, with six Blueprint levels to choose from, those being E, D, C, B, A, and S, with E being the worst level and S being the best level. Blueprint level determines how likely your craft is to success, with E level blueprints having the least success rate and S level Blueprints having the best success rate. Bear in mind that an S-Level Blueprint will NEVER fail at crafting, so take that into consideration when crafting. Blueprints are obtained in a few ways- disassembling items, completing missions, and playing Zombie modes and getting a loot drop. If you complete a Daily Mission, you'll get a random grade C-level blueprint, and if you complete a Special Mission, you get a random grade A-level blueprint. Finally, disassembling your items will give out random blueprints, as will zombie loot boxes. If you log in 7 days in a row, you get a free Grade-S Blueprint
Durables
Durables are the next piece of the puzzle. These determine how long your crafted weapon will stay in your inventory, and can range from 1 Day - Permanent. There are currently 6 Durables, which are 1-Day, 2-3 Day, 8-10 Day, 24-30 Day, 72-90 Day, and 72Day-Permanent. One very important thing to remember about 72Day-Permanent Durables is that you're NOT guaranteed to get a Permanent gun. Permanent Guns are VERY rare, and thus it may take hundreds of tries just to get one. Durables can be obtained via Daily Missions, Special Missions, disassembly, or simply getting kills. If you log in 6 days in a row, you get a free 72Day-Permanent Durable
Recipes
Finally, we have recipes. There are only two recipes at the moment, and those are:
Lucky Craft

It boosts the chances of your craft not failing. The lower level your blueprint is, the higher chance of the Lucky Craft working. Using a Lucky Craft on an S-Level Blueprint is not advisable, since the S-grade guarantees a successful craft.

Recyclable Craft

It allows you to get back ONE of your crafting materials in case your craft fails; durability metal or combat blueprint. Convenient when using low level blueprints. The only way to get a Recipe is by disassembly or getting lucky with Battlefield Supply.
Crafting Modes
Ok ,now that we've covered the materials, let's move onto the modes. There are currently 4 modes of crafting:
  • Crafting
  • Enhancement
  • Disassembly
  • Synthesis
Crafting
Crafting is your bread and butter. Insert a durable metal, a blueprint (and possibly a recipe or two), and you get yourself a gun. Neat. But it isn't that simple! When crafting a gun, there is a chance that your craft will fail, and you'll end up getting nothing. The chances of a failed craft are as follows:
  • Grade-E Blueprint - Lowest chance
  • Grade-D Blueprint - Slightly better than grade-E
  • Grade-C Blueprint - Forty-Sixty
  • Grade-B Blueprint - Sixty-Forty
  • Grade-A Blueprint - Will Almost Always Succeed
  • Grade-S Blueprint - Will Always Succeed
As explained before, Lucky Craft will boost your chances of a successful craft, and Recyclable Craft returns failed materials.
Enhancement
Enhancement is a cool but quirky feature that allows you to actually make your guns better. In order to enhance a gun, all you need a is a non-stock gun (i.e. one that came from a craft or a crate) and some Enhancement Materials, which is purchased excusively from the in-game store for 10000 GP per 10 Materials. Once you've gathered your materials, pop them into the Enhancement machine, and hope for the best. Enhancements have a 50-50 chance of failing or succeeding, and if you do manage to enhance a gun one level, there's an even smaller chance of that enchancement being reversed in future enhancements. Enhancing a gun allows you to boost the following attributes:
  • Damage
  • Rate of Fire
  • Recoil
  • Accuracy
  • Ammo
  • Portability

Supported weapons have a maximum limit of eight enhancements, and these can be seen in your inventory with a little bracketed number next to its name, along with the wrench icon on the top-right corner. So, for example, if I have an AS50 with 2 RoF enhancements and 1 Accuracy enhancement, then it'll show up in my inventory as "[+3] AS50". Once your weapon expires, assuming it's not permanent, the enhancements go with it, and you'll have to re-enhance upon getting another rental of that gun.

Now we'll be covering the enhancement kits that will be used to do so:
Normal Enhancement Kit

This is the most basic tool for those who wants to experience the joys of enhancing weapons. They are available for purchase with in-game points so there is zero cash involved. Take note that the following outcomes are random whenever one unit is used:
Success: A random attribute is enhanced
Fail: Nothing is changed
Level down: A random enhanced attribute is downgraded by one level
Disassembly
Disassembly is also fairly simple. Take any item in your inventory, and trade it in for a random set of crafting materials. Your chances of a disassembly are 50-50, and the items you get in return are completely random. You can get up to a Permanent Durable(applies to Name Change item or permanent duration weapons), a Level-S Blueprint, and a recipe. Keep in mind that pretty much anything you get your hands on can be disassembled, so if you get a zombie powerup which you know you'll never use, then you can disassemble that too.
Synthesis
Finally, we have synthesis. Synthesis involves taking 2 or 3 of the same material and combining it into a better material. For example, if you have three 1-Day Durables, those can be synthesized into a 2-3 Day Durable, and three of those can be synthesized into a 8-10 Day Durable, and so on and so forth. You can use 2 materials to synthesize, but your chances of a failed synthesis are much higher, so you should generally stick to three. Blueprints can also be synthesized, which I recommend doing if you have a bunch of Level-E blueprints simply lying around gathering dust.

An interesting thing to note is that a small chance of obtaining a much higher quality than the expected result exists. For instance, crafting three 2-3days durability metals would normally yield a 8-10 days result but if you're lucky, you would receive a 30-days one instead.
Pro Tips and Insider Info
  • Never craft blueprints of different grades, as they are more than likely to fail.
  • Same applies to durability metals. Always craft the same durables instead of mixing a 2-3days, a 8-10days and a 30-days.
  • Using 2 instead of 3 materials for crafting has a higher chance of failure.
  • Synthesizing three of the same material will decrease the chance of getting that same material.
  • Choose carefully which Grade Blueprint you're going to craft. Some grades will carry better guns than others, and all of these guns can be viewed in the store by clicking on the desired blueprint.
  • Crafting a 72Day-Permanent Durable will NOT guarantee a Permanent gun. Your chances of getting a permanent gun are slim, and the results range from 72 days to permanent.
  • Disassembling guns will yield better results than items, such as zombie powerups.
  • Playing for an hour a day will guarantee you three Level-C Blueprints. You can synthesize these into a Level-B Blueprint, and doing more daily missions will get you more Level-C Blueprints
  • Special Missions are available once a day, and will get you a Level-A Blueprint.
