U.S. Military Terms and Slang

http://datafortress2020.com/conflict/mglos.html
This is a full list of Radio Jargon but below I will tell you the most common radio Terms and Slang that is near universal.

Common Radio Lingo

"10-4" or "Affirm" or "Affirmative" or "Copy" - Giving acknowledgement.
"Break-Break" - Tells all other listeners that next message is of high priority, can be used to get through other transmissions.
"Correction" - There was an error in my last transmission, the following is the corrected information.
"Say Again" - Please say your last transmission again. NOTE: This CAN NOT replace 'repeat' (can be confused with fire discipline pro-word)
"Come in" = Asking another party to acknowledge they can hear you
"Go Ahead" = I am ready for your message
"Over" = Message finished, inviting others to respond if needed
"Out" = Conversation is finished, no answer is required or expected
"Radio check" = What’s my signal strength? Can you hear me?
"Read you loud and clear" = Your transmission signal is good, I can hear you fine
"Stand By" = Wait for a short period and I will get back to you (Note: "Break" can be used as well but "break" is more of a few second wait imo compared to "Stand By" where it may be a minute or two minutes

Common Callouts

"Victor"or "Vic" (Vehicle)
"Helo" (Helicopter)
"Arty" (Artillery)
"CAS" (Close Air Support)
"ND" or "AD" (Negligent Discharge or Accidental Discharge)
"MSR" (Main Supply Route)
"ASR" (Alternate Supply Route)
"MBT" (Main Battle Tank)
"SNAFU" (Situation Normal - All F**ked Up)

You may decide to use code words, e.g. “Code blue” for a non-crucial incident, “Code yellow” for a non-dangerous incident that still requires an immediate response, and “Code red” for a dangerous or serious incident that requires an immediate response.

Final Notes

From What I hear in Arma Reforger is a lot of overlapping chatter. Ways to fix this is using Radio etiquette for a better flow of communication within your team. Also, creating specific radio channels for you own squad helps too. Only convey important information over the platoon channel using code names for OPSEC reasons.

Before stepping up your game to a digital US Army level people should start with:
- Keep your "storys" short on radio (less is more)
- Let people finish their sentences, if your message isn't important
- You are not alone, not everything on your end is important
- Use common sense

Simple rules for communication, just "think - push - talk". Way more important then a 1:1 reallife lingo. Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers... a guy once told me on a guide ;-)
