"Ah, an album near and dear to my heart. If I had a favorite album of all time, it would be this one. Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? has got to be one of the most impressive musical sediments ever made. Kevin Barnes is a musical genius, and his way of depicting life through music is brilliant. The guy goes through one of the most depressive and tragic points of his life, and he uses it to make energetic psych-pop?! Somehow, he makes it work, and he ends up creating some of the best music of all time. This includes the 12-minute masterpiece "The Past is a Grotesque Animal", and you just gotta hear it for yourself!
