Tips for Crawling Queen Mode
By Shimanto
Hello everyone,

I want to share with you how I managed to complete Crawling Queen Mode. If you're having trouble getting past it. If you haven't even managed Hard Mode, it's okay, because the tips I want to share with you can be very helpful there too.

This is also my very first guide on Steam in general. Hope you like it.

1. Talents
Which talents should you take?
Of course there are many combinations that also work.

Which talents I definitely recommend taking with you.
I maximized the "clear round knife recovery". Because it's better to save the ammo for certain enemies like Levitation, Temptation, Enhancer and Sentinel and the boss.

Clear round HP is also important to skill at least once.
Movement speed is very helpful in later rounds. Especially when you have to get away quickly to keep your distance from the enemy.

I recommend you to favor one firearm. In my case it is HG. Therefore you should skill Clear Round XX ammos +1 at least once for this weapon.

I have skilled knife & HG damage like this because it is enough to kill the first enemies with 2 knife blows or 2 headshots with HG.

Why I once skilled Weapon in Biodoll Chamber. It's a gamble to get a good weapon/armor. Right at the beginning of the game.

2. Weapon Stats
When it comes to weapon stats, I noticed that the rarity of the weapon doesn't necessarily automatically make the weapon better than one with a worse rarity.

It's important that you should prefer weapon damage to headshot damage. Because I noticed that even though I had a weapon that had +30% headshot damage, it still needed 1 more shot than the weapon with +30% weapon damage.

The reason is mathematics.

For example: the SR has a base damage of 60.
The base headshot multiplier is x1.5
So the base headshot damage would be 90.

Weapon with bonus headshot damage 30%
New headshot multiplier is x1,8
So the final damage would be 108.
Compared to the weapon with only 30% weapon bonus damage.
60 -> 78 weapon damage -> 117 headshot damage.

So we have a damage difference of 9.
It doesn't sound like much, but one more shot is also a shot wasted in the long run.

The remaining stats are up to you, personally you can take anything as long as the weapon damage is higher than your old one.

It's important that when you swap your knife, the knife's durability is full again. I don't know if that's what the developer wanted. If you swap your old knife back after waiting a short while, your old knife will also have full durability again. ;)
3. Biodoll Chamber & Tactics against specific enemies

In the Biodoll chamber you should always try to put the strongest dolls in so that you can get the best rewards.

Order would be Sentinel > Enhancers > Temptations > Levitations > Combined Dummy Dolls > Spare Dolls > Dummy Dolls.

You want to get the enhancers without taking damage?
There is a very simple trick. Use the other dead dolls to push the dead enhancers out of the spell circle. Something like this:

Don't forget to crouch down or you won't reach the body.

Against Temptations you have to keep in mind that they always need 5 shots to break the shield. Only then do they take the damage. The quickest method would be to get the 5 hits with HG or AR and then finish with SR headshot. Alternatively you can use any weapon except SG because there is a high probability that you will get them to trigger their smoke cloud attack in close combat, which will make their shield full again.

For Enhancers, I would recommend always paying attention to where exactly they are standing, so that you don't force yourself to walk into their enchantment area multiple times to avoid unnecessary damage. In the narrower maps, I would recommend shooting them to lure them into a larger area and then kill them. Then you should never have any problems with them.

For the Sentinels, you should only start attacking when you are far enough away from them. I personally shoot them with the HG until the shield is broken. Important note: when she is in the animation where the shield breaks. Definitely do not shoot in this short period of time, because in this moment she is not taking any damage, in my opinion. So that you don't waste any more ammo unnecessarily, you should take a few steps back and ideally switch to the SR and give her 2 or 3 headshots. Alternatively, you can also use AR if your SR has no ammo left or if you have gone more towards AR damage.
4. Upgrades
We have a lot of upgrades to choose from.
But I would always recommend choosing the higher rarity.
Red (Special) > Gold > Blue > White

I recommend the following special items for the Crawling Queen mode:
1. double chance that the enemies will drop ammo.
2. That you get 10 random ammo after each completed round.
3. +15 ammo for the AR.

But my personal favorite is the one where you can't be seen by the dolls after 5 seconds with the SR as long as you have it equipped and don't attack. This is a good way to rebuild distance against the Sentinel.

I would recommend taking at least 3x Ammo +1 obtained from Biodoll Chamber.
Otherwise your favorite weapon + damage and SR + damage.
A few times + Knife Max Durability should also be included.

You should definitely also take plenty of +HP & +Stamina later.
So that you don't have any problems against Enhancers later and so that you aren't a one hit for the Sentinel.

I don't take ammo and stamina regen per second because I don't think it's worth it.
I would only take ammo if I knew that the next round would be the boss fight and my ammo supply was very low.
a few last words
I hope I was able to help some of you.

I hope you have fun playing and don't forget to look around every corner so that you don't get hit by surprise. xD

Do you mean Reviver Biodoll? Only if you selected "Reviver in the Darkness" in "Crawling Queen's Trail".

Can you encounter newer dolls in Queen chamber mode?

Some tips from my CQ mode runs: I don't think going AR is a viable winning strategy. You can do it, but I think the perks are harder to make work than the multipliers on the other guns. I honestly think HG or SG can make easier wins, but the best SG perks are the cooldown shots which makes them very ammo efficient but extremely aggravating to play and means you have to take some maps VERY seriously so you dont get caught on the cooldowns.

Temptations can be blasted with shotgun pellets, if you pick the shotgun cooldown buff or the pellet buff, you can kill them in one shot through the shield. Oddly enough, Sentinels do not share this property.

The points you earn in normal, for example, you can also use for the other difficulties. Because I played normal until I had done it. Then I started with hard and had the same number of points as in normal, even though I hadn't played a single hard round before.
Have you played it a few times in normal?

You should always get points no matter what difficulty you choose.
