A little note
The screenshots that I included in the guide were taken by me during the fight against the Dancing Lion. I am aware it’s much harder to understand some descriptions with only a few screenshots and no video. However, I think if you’re here, you’ve most likely already seen these attacks, so you can understand which is which.
Moveset

General
One of the first attacks he can perform at the start of the fight is Dust Breath, which reaches the entrance to the arena so you can even be killed by that attack if you stay in place or move forward. To dodge this, you just need to run left or right; nothing special.

Second one is walking to after few second he jumps at you and strikes you with his head, that attack has a damage range, so you can dodge "head part" but not the waves of wind which also deal damage(but not as mush as "main" part). The best way to dodge is to roll toward him when he jumps, you will be behind him.

Dust Spin: he spin around himself and moves to one site, and breathes duts around. That attack is very important, because it gives you opportunities to damage him, if you dodge it correctly. If you're near him, it's better to stay and attack him, and roll when his head scrolled to your position, he walks so even if you were under him after some time he will be further away, so you couldn't attack him and his Dust Breath can damage you. It’s important to watch his movements to stay safe. If you further from him, you have two options, go away or jump. After jumping you can easily go to him and attack one-two times. You can also roll, but for me it's much more dangerous than other two options.

Barrel Attack, he rises into the air and, after a short interval, performs the first spinning attack, followed by the second with the same delay, directed toward you. Then, he strikes his head against the floor and may begin to spin around, exhaling dust. After second spinning attack you can start beating him, but I recomend you prepare for Dust Spin, after which you can attack Dancing Lion. Best way to dodge Barrel Attack is roll forward to him, it's most safety way, if you roll back you can get caught in the wind, which deals small damage, but you will be closer to him.

Bites through the back, when you behind him, he can turn head to your side and bite 2-3 times, so be careful while being behind him, and be prepared to that move. Also that move dodges same way as a default bites comdo, so you no need to do something special.

Lightning phase
Lightning Bolt, one of the most difficult from lightning attacks, he rises high into the air he throuw to you one or two lightning bolts, whic give you Electrisity damage and create area where lightning can hit(like Ancient Dragons lightning), so here only roll at right timing.

Frosen phase
Stomb attack, which create crystalls on the floor, and stacks frostbite. First way to dodge is roll under or near him at right moment, also jumping, but here timings much lesser, so don't reccomend(also to dodge by jumping you must be away from his leg, because leg also deal damage). Second way is go away from him and before his stomb dodge left or right site. Ice crystalls appear around Lion, but further they divided into three lanes, which wedodge in second way.

Storm phase
Tornado, , he rises high into the air and start spin around himself and create tornado which goes to you. To dodge this attack I run one of sites(left or right) and when tornado near roll, it's very safety and easy method to dodge that scary attack.
Phases differences

That boss have 3 phases, first defauld, after that first elemental changing and there third one, where he change elemental charges among themselves way faster.

Phase 1
Here you see most of his moves, and attacks which you need to dodge 70% of time.
All moves doesn't have changing delays, and pretty predictable combos( he cant do same attack more that 1 time) so here you just need to prectise to dodge it.

Phase 2
Here all became more defficult, you need always look for his moves, check lightning and don't give them touch you. After all attacks in Lightning Elemental charge on the floor appears Lightning sparks, where lightning attack. They don't appear between them, but while he attack they are, and sometimes one attack generate 2 or even 3 lightning rain which hit one after the other , so be careful about it. He also can turn to frozen or storm element, frost one appear ice in place where he attacked, mostly where head hitbox touch floor, so if you dodge his normal attacks good, therenothing to change this, but if you don't it's became much harder. Storm version much easier because don't have lightning bolts and frostbite, but here his attacks covered by wind, so their range become bigger. Mostly it's means that you should dodge moew carefully, to avoid and base attack damage and wind damage.

Phase 3
According to my feeling that phase starts when his HP lover than 25%, here no new moves but he change elemental form much-much faster, he can attack you 2-3 times and change form, that makes his moves more unpredictable and makes fight way harder.

Battle tacticks

Here I give you few options to beat Dancing Lion,

He have 3 weakness, bleed, poise and scarlet rot, let's talk about them.
Fristly, I tried to stack poison, but always I don't have any results, so I can't say you for sure if he immune, or high resistant to poison, or it was unluck moment.
Scarlet Rot build
After stack Scarlet Rot damaging Dancing Lion an 45 HP per tick(weapon version, which mean that totally it gives 16.2% of max HP +1350 damage for 90 seconds), that pretty good number because of he have many flying attack or phase changings when you can't attack him because he high in air.
Also you can use Rotten Breath, Ekzykes's Decay, and Scarlet Aeonia which gives more damage(0.33 total enemy HP +13 per tick for a 90 second, over it's full duration 29.7% max enemy's HP +1170 damage).
You can use Rot Grease on your weapon, or one of already infused with Scarlet Rot weapon, like a Rotten Crystal armament ant etc. Antspur Rapier can be infused to bleed, so you can stack two status effect at same time(and get talisman buffs from both), so here yo uhave a lot apportunities.

Poise Repost build
Here I used a Zwaihander with Axe Talisman and Blade of Mercy with Stonebarb Cracked Tear and Spiked Cracked Tear. I used Zwaihander cuzz it have straight charge attack which have good lenght range, so I can easilly attack Lion after dodging and don't worry about range of my attack. Also it gives good opportunities to break his stancem so I think that quite good option. Here you shoult use any stamina-recovery buff, like a Turtle Talisman, shield or neck, you can even sacrifice one of Physick slots if you sure(I wouldn't recomend that, but you can do it, if you wish).

I wont describe a bleed build, just because here you can chose any weapon and any playstyle which you prefer more. I mean you can use katanas, curved swords, Flamberge, great curved swords, duggers, and etc. so if you chose to kill Dancing Lion by bleeding way, you already have your favorite bleed weapon, and already know Talisman and hut which perfectly fit here.

Dancing Lion pretty fair bossfight, so you can defeat him by using any style you prefer, but I still hope that one of methods I described will help you.
