Overview
Tired of scavenging gear and being weighed down just to obtain more gold or items? This glitch offers a unique twist on the backpack exploit. Typically, you'd sell a container to a vendor, fill it with their items, and then pickpocket or knock them out to retrieve it all.

This guide introduces a similar method but instead you can simply take a trader's entire inventory.
Cautions and Considerations
WARNING: Use at your own risk—I am not responsible for any issues with your save file or game if you choose to use this.

Tested on PC Steam version with the current patch. Not tested on consoles.

The glitch is generally safe, but sometimes dragging items from a trader to your container can cause the containers's weight not to reset after removing the items. This issue can be fixed by emptying the backpack and having another party member pick it up.

Consider the role-playing impact: using this glitch may conflict with characters who value fairness but could be justified by less scrupulous characters if that matters to you.

I've reported this glitch to the developers months ago, but it remains un-patched. It may be intentional or low priority. Either way, enjoy the guide!
Items Needed
To start, you'll only need two backpacks, pouches, or any container you can pick up. You may wish to carry more backpacks or containers to sell or donate them to different vendors to utilize this trick across multiple vendors. I've used barrels, crates, backpacks, and pouches and all have worked.
Instructions
1. Donate or sell any container to a trader of your choice.

2. Next, switch to the Barter screen, then open up the container that you gave to the trader and put the entire traders inventory into that container.
3. Open up a container on your end. Select all the items you wish to take from the trader and drag them to the containers icon (see screenshot) and not directly into the slots of the container themselves. You must select two items or more to take.

Here you can see that I have all the items the trader had. You do not buy the items when you do this correctly, it simply places the items you selected into your backpack.

4. That's it! Never worry about collecting items to sell again!
Notes
To ensure the exploit works, you must select two or more items. Selecting only one item can cause issues: some traders, like Auntie Ethel in the Emerald Grove, will drop the items. Others might drop the item but you'll automatically pick it up. While this still works, it's more reliable to select two or more items to avoid this happening altogether.

Example provided below with Auntie Ethel who will always drop the items if you do one at at time.

Do the steps above. In this example, I'm only trying to take 1 garlic
2. If you see the message, "The trader appears encouraged by your interest in this item. Though, of course, you'll need to pay for it," the trader will drop the item when you stop talking and trading. Taking it is considered stealing.

Alternatively, you can use the Pact of the Blade Warlock exploit.

Step 1 - Bind a weapon from your inventory as your pact weapon.
Step 2 - Unequip your pact weapon
Step 3 - Multi select your pact weapon along with any other item from your inventory.
Step 4 - Add them to Wares
Step 5 - Find a shop keeper and switch your interaction to Trade (NOT Barter).
Step 6 - Click on Sell Wares.

This will attempt to sell your pact weapon to the shop keeper. But since the pact weapon can't be removed / sold properly, it will keep your weapon while still obtaining the gold from the trade.

With this exploit, you can spam click Sell Wares to empty out the store owner's gold, use it to buy out their inventory, then spam click Sell Wares again to get all your money back.

@LordKassyKastro This has not been patched. It's still working on the current patch.
