The higher up in plat you get, the harder reads get, this is where scythe is EXTREMELY important, scythe requires little to no reads, and is near impossible to punish.

Scythe doesn't have many combos, as 99% of them are situational and require a wall, but if your opponent dodges once you are allowed to chain hits for free and usually kill them.

If your thinking, what if i just use any other weapon, yes of course you can do that, but i spent thousands of hours learning greatsword, and 16 minutes on scythe..... I didn't get to diamond on greatsword.

The staff are chickens. They never have and never will nerf scythe in any major way. Katars, Cannon, and Gauntlets all have had their moments, but scythe has been the easiest weapon to use since 2022.

If you want to use skill and use anything but scythe to diamond, you will need about 2000-3000 hours to reach the rank, you will also need to learn combos, and watch videos. Using scythe you just need 500 hours.... and nothing else.

Basically, use scythe, and if you have a bit of skill you will reach diamond for free like I did.
