Basic Things
First you need to get familar with the command map. To get into the map press TAB or you can press ESC then click on command map. When in the map you can use WASD to move around, and Q and E to zoom in and out. In the top left corner of the map it will show both teams current currency along with casualties. On the top middle you can see 2 command buttons used for commanding platoons. On the top right corner you can see 2 button (sometimes only 1) That control the AI's ability to command. In the bottom left corner you can see all the buttons that allow you to spawn in troops and fire support.

Currency and AI buttons
Your currency in the top left corner is used for spawning in just about everything. It will slowly regenerate over time or as you and your army kill troops more currency will be added. Each Platoon, Fire support, or placeable has a cost and when using any of these it will be subtracted from your total currency. The AI buttons on the top right corner control the ability for an AI to control your army. With the AI commanding it will spawn in and command troops as well as artillery strikes. When the button is turned off you have to control your army. To reset the buttons you must restart the map.
Commanding and Spawning Troops
When you spawn in a platoon they will instantly start marching toward the enemy team's base. If you want to command where you want them to go you must click on their platoon tag and then click where you want them to go. However they won't start going there instantly, they will continue their current course until you re-order them to the new position. If you want to change the type of behavior of the platoon you can select it from the lower top middle command button. There are 3 options. Assault Position, Form Line, and Melee Charge. Simply select the formation you want and the one selected will be the one used for new commands. When using the commands the selected command will order all platoons with the command on both teams. For Example a platoon assigned with Assault Position is not going to melee charge when that command is given, only platoons with Melee charge are going to charge. Note, when a platoon suffers heavy casualties the remaining troops will retreat. Usually when you spawn in a platoon they will spawn at your HQ and start making their way toward their given position, but if you look in the bottom left corner their is a button to to change that, when changed when you exit the command map a green arrow will appear as shown. The selected platoon will spawn on the location the green arrow is pointing at when you left click, to exit simply press enter.

Fire Support and Other configurations
You can see the fire support button on the bottom left corner. When pressed it will switch from Infantry to Fire Support. There are 2 types of Fire support Artillery Strike and Gas Strike. When spawned in artillery will rain down from above hitting in random locations around the targeted area. To switch back to Infantry, simply click the button now labeled Infantry. You can also configure what platoons will be shown with the selection button on the left. Note any platoon or fire support labeled with red will charge the red army the cost of the platoon/fire support. The same is with the green army, any platoon or fire support that is labeled green will charge the green army.
Conclusion
I hope this guide gave you an idea on how to use the command map as when I first started it was a bit confusing at first. If you see any typos or grammar mistakes please let me know in the comments as this is my first guide. If you like this guide consider giving it a thumbs up.

@Powerpig303, But it doesn’t attack or anything really. I have to command the enemy in order for it to do anything.

@ForgettableName The AI should already be turned on when you load into a battle unless you turn off enemy AI command. Which to turn back on you'll have to exit out and reload your battle.

@Glorified Breen Hater You can choose your load out before spawning in by clicking the loadout button. Then you can drag the weapon or item you want into the inventory slot you want it to be in.

@stoneym23 I would assume it is a bug as I can use WASD to move the command map around in every mode.

When I try to move around in the command map using WASD nothing happens. Am I missing something or is there a bug?
