Umeko was recruited by the colony, originally as an apprentice to Noelle, the Nyaron colony's main builder.
But after Noelle was killed that fateful night, Umeko had to step up to fill her shoes.
With a Construction of 16 and Medical of 10, Umeko was the colony's main builder, but could also assist the doctors when needed.

As she had the Beautiful trait, Umeko also caught quite a few eyes, but was never too concerned with romance, when there was always a new project that needed built. Though she would eventually enter a relationship with Charis's ex-boyfriend, Bear.
Without Umeko, the colony would probably still be trying to build an extra cabin or their first turret.
