First Steps
This guide split up into the three sections of the DLC along with some further sectioning to make this more readable. As a foreword, I recommend taking the time to fiddle with a puzzle for a bit and only read its entry in this guide if you are truly stuck. You'd be surprised how capable you are to solve the puzzle if you sit on it for a bit.

Each entry in the guide follows a similar structure:

Number and Name of the Puzzle
1. A starting point or slight nudge.
2+. Additional hints hidden by spoiler tags.
3. Spoiler image showing partial (sometimes) full solution.

Orpheus Ascending - Puzzles 1-12
1 - Yield
1. That Red laser in front of you is in the way...
2. Using one laser, you need to connect the Blue laser and stop the Red laser.
Image:

2 - Crossing the River
1. Create a Blue flowing river across.
2. Use only Blue lasers to block all 3 incoming Red lasers.
Image:

3 - Sequence
1. Don't turn it Blue, make it Red instead.
2. The Red laser cannot reach the Receiver and Accumulator at the same time.
3. You'll need to do this puzzle in multiple presses of the button.
Image:

4 - Vastness
1. You'll want both Connectors to be friends.
2. The obvious angle for the Red Receiver is not the correct one.
Image:

5 - Chain
1. There's a sweet spot to get the top laser through, might require some math.
2. Figure out how far the Blue laser reaches past where you connected it.
Image:

6 - Equilibrium
1. More laser math, the colors must be equal.
2. Use Connectors to alter the strength of each laser.
Image:

7 - Domino Effect
1. 4 Connectors and a R,B,R,B series of Receivers...
2. Each color adds and subtracts from its neighbors, there is a balance.
Image:

8 - Concatenation
1. The Blue side can be moved around more than it appears.
2. The amount of Connectors on each side must be equal.
Image:

9 - Causation Nexus
1. Your body is a temple and a tool.
2. There are no Connectors you can manipulate, find something else to use.
Image: No Relevant Image

10 - Incarnation
1. Red and Blue lasers are both needed, but cannot co-exist at the same time.
2. Find the points where lasers collide and stop the Generator that blocks your path.
3. Once inside, you are not trapped and can still interact with lasers.
Image:

11 - Breakthrough
1. Solving this puzzle is like Crossing a River.
2. The fact that the lasers are Green means nothing.
Image: Image

12 - Switchboard
1. You need to power the Blue Receiver at the top, but there's too much Red in the way.
2. You'll need to cut off the Red Generator's access to the top, but find another place to send Red through.
Image: Image
Orpheus Ascending - Puzzles 13-16, Finale, and Gold Gates
13 - Extension
1. The Connector above can only be Red or Blue, there is no halfway.
2. The dominant color needs to be weakened by stretching out its direct source.
3. The Connector above has two ways of becoming Blue.
Image: Image

14 - Datastream
1. You cannot rely on a "Domino Effect" here, the number of Receivers are too different.
2. Red has too much of a presence for how few Receivers it has.
3. You'll need two Red Connectors. Link them together rather than relying on two different Generator instances.
Image: Image

15 - Flow Control
1. All 3 colors want the same thing, the Hexahedrons exist to maintain a balance.
2. Start with Blue, its path is the most unintrusive.
3. Red and Green both have a higher and lower path they cannot share.
Image: Image

16 - Propagation Cancellation
1. All 3 colors will fully consume the space if allowed, maintain the balance by forcing them to share.
2. You do not have enough Connectors to use each color, you'll need to be resourceful with the 2 colors you do use.
3. With a given color, guarantee its own Receiver is met while preventing another color from being overtaken.
Image: Image

The "Heart of Anubis" can only be started once every other puzzle is done:

Finale - Heart of Anubis
1. Do not let the odd shape fool you. The Connectors, Generators, and Receivers you know are all still here. Use the lessons you've learned up to this point here.
2. The Connectors that you can interact with are near the colored hexagons.
3. One of the colors is very weak in power and you only have 2 Connectors. Might be best to leave it be for now.
4. Keep the two warring colors to themselves, they do not like to share Receivers.
Image: Image

Gold Gates are unlocked after the "Heart of Anubis" is completed:

Gold Gate 1 - Hysteresis
1. Each Receiver causes a matching Generator to open a gate after some delay.
2. You cannot have both Generators active at the same time, and the first set of Receivers are too quick to switch things manually.
3. "Hysteresis", in broad terms, is when a delay or lag occurs between an input and output. The pillar's middle name happens to be "lag".
4. Picture a setup where the pillar passing by causes one Receiver to activate and the other to stop immediately.
Image: Image

Gold Gate 2 - Step by Step
1. Two Connectors that you need to setup and leave behind. You cannot go back for them.
2. With each press of the button and an alternation of color, the pathway will emerge.
3. Only one color can be allowed to reach the middle at a time. Your body is what decides which color reaches.
4. The Receivers still have a use even after their lever has been pulled.
Image: Image

Gold Gate 3 - Clockwork
1. No Receiver can be permanently powered; they all need to automatically cycle on and off.
2. Luckily, the game already shows you how to create this cycle as you enter.
3. Unlike what the game displays for you, your cycle does not have to be a perfect triangle.
4. Each Connector must be connected to its Generator, Receiver, and also stop another Receiver.
Image: Image
Isle of the Blessed - Green Island Puzzles
Each island also contains a bridge puzzle, collectibles, and a few Stars that will not be covered in this guide. Don't forget to use the maps to fast travel around.

1 - The Man Behind the Curtain
1. The Activator must open a gate beyond its reach.
2. The Jammer is useful for placing the Activator in a tricky spot.
Image: Image

2 - The Snatchback Maneuver
1. The Blue laser is a friend... until it is not.
2. Use the Driller to stop the Blue laser after you've made it on the inside.
Image: Image

3 - The Loop
1. Use the Teleporter to get in AND out of a tricky space.
2. Charge the Accumulator, then get it back inside after you've linked it outside.
Image: Image

4 - The Turnabout
1. Items cannot go through the barrier, but going higher up allows you to go around it.
2. After getting the Hexahedron, the Inverter and the Connector need to trade places.
Image: Image

5 - The Theodorian Knot
1. You must gather 3 components using the Jammer. Use items for multiple purposes to obtain them.
2. When dealing with the knot, there is no need to cut or block anything. It can be untangled.
Image: Image

6 - The Binary Paradox
1. There's a lot to unpack in this area, try to get the 2nd Connector first.
2. Two Drills and two lasers need to converge all at one point without getting in each other's way.
Image: Image

7 - The Cutoff Quandry
1. A giant laser lies above. You need to tie a knot around it.
2. Use the Drill to trade items between yourselves and create almost identical Fan setups.
Image: Image

8 - The Mechanical Gyre
1. The wheel rotates between 3 different states. Each has a right tool for the job, and not necessarily in order.
2. After getting the Connector and Inverter past the gate, you'll want a Drill.
3. Utilize the Jammer so that a Drill hole is all that's needed for the Red laser to come through.
Image: Image

Lost - The Auxiliary Factor
1. An RGB Converter that must hold the gate, the window is the key.
2. Use the nearby opening to feed the color needed before your setup can support itself.
Image: Image
Isle of the Blessed - Blue Island Puzzles
Each island also contains a bridge puzzle, collectibles, and a few Stars that will not be covered in this guide. Don't forget to use the maps to fast travel around.

1 - The Smoothie Solution
1. RGB Converters aren't only good for getting green.
2. Weave a web of the 4 RGB Convertors taking colors from each other.
Image: Image

2 - The Ballet of the Bots
1. You need a direct sightline to take control. The floor marks your path.
2. Line up the 3 of you so that one is standing on the button and can still swap to the other two.
Image: No Relevant Image

3 - The Closing Conundrum
1. The Inverter needs a Red laser, but the Driller cannot stay.
2. Precisely string together connections between the Red Generator, Inverter, and Connector to keep the gate open even after the Driller is moved.
Image: Image

4 - The Big Hassle
1. The Red Activator needs to be powered from multiple sources.
2. Connect the Red Activator to the Generator from two angles, and then use the Generators to open both gates.
Image: Image

5 - The Intruder
1. There's no getting past it, you NEED all of your tools and yourself over that wall. Find a way to ignore the button.
2. Have you considered hoping over the fence?
Image: Image

6 - The Trident Enigma
1. You'll want to grab the items in L,R,L pattern, center is for last.
2. The Activator can frequently be used to open 2 different gates.
Image: Image

7 - The Twist and the Turn
1. Activating the Green Receiver messes all of your connections up. Now you'll have to go back and fix them...
2. Blue and Red both need the spare Connector in order to be fixed, so you'll have to do them one at a time.
3. Blue requires some gate shenanigans and then is good to go, Red needs a bit more redirection.
Image: Image

8 - The High Road
1. Throughout the puzzle you have very few items you need to swap between, think 2 steps ahead.
2. You can catch items in the middle of the air using 2 Gravshifters.
3. Fling the Hexahedron to the different buttons to open up more options for you.
Image: Image

Lost - The Helping Hand
1. After freeing your other self, keep them close and give each other a hand.
2. One of yourselves needs to be positioned up high with a Connector.
Image: Image
Isle of the Blessed - Red Island Puzzles
Each island also contains a bridge puzzle, collectibles, and a few Stars that will not be covered in this guide. Don't forget to use the maps to fast travel around.

1 - The Missing Element
1. To find the missing element, look in high places.
2. Use the Activator on top of the Fan.
Image: Image

2 - The Laser Circus
1. Additional RGB Connectors can be used to provide colors that are normally out of reach.
2. There is no spot to use the Fan, but it does free up another item.
Image: Image

3 - The Bilateral Challenge
1. You cannot connect the Red laser through, so you'll have to do it from above.
2. Since the Fan is always on, there's an order to how you place things on it.
Image: Image

4 - The Euclidian Palette
1. Using the Gravshifter will swap between the RGB Connector receiving Green, Blue, or Red.
2. You can always feed the RGB Connector Green manually.
3. The gate with the Blue Generator can become self-opening.
Image: Image

5 - The Perpendicular Procedure
1. A situation is never impossible if you look at the right angle of it.
2. Several situations may seem tricky, but you can break the rules by stepping off the grid.
Image: Image

6 - The Celestial Beacon
1. Before embarking, be sure to light the beacon.
2. Take turns using the Jammer and the Connector above to hold open the gates.
Image: (Not part of the solution, but I never needed to use that Hexahedron lol)
Image

7 - The Misalignment Syndrome
1. One object must always stay inside the purple barrier, but it is not always the same item.
2. After you've freed the Connector, use it to gather the other items. Leave one Driller inside.
3. You might need to thread the eye of the needle to get the Green laser through.
Image: Image

8 - The Riddle of the Citadel
1. Contrary to most puzzles in this game, you actually are quick enough to beat the clock here.
2. You'll need to connect a laser on top of the tower while it's raised, and then raise it up even further.
Image: Image

Lost - The Phantom Tunnel
1. Once you've positioned a Connector near the end to open the side gate, you'll want to keep that Connector there.
2. The "Phantom Tunnel" consists of the right passageway. There is no other way to get Red all the way through.
Image: Image
Isle of the Blessed - Finale and Gold Gates
"The Hexahedron" is only accessible after completing all three islands:

Finale - The Hexahedron
1. This one is a bit tough to write hints for due to its size so here's some general tips. The Hexahedron is more of a maze-like spectacle than it is a puzzle. The game makes frequent checkpoints to save your progress and let you know you're going the right direction.

2. Don't get confused by all of the pathways you can't access; look for wherever you can actually walk to next. Trust the game's path; it'll always take you near what you need to do next. You will never need to do any crazy jumps or platforming.

3. To help track your progress, here's a rough order of locations you'll run by: Red Connector, Blue Connector, Jammer, Green Receiver, Red Connector near Fans, Blue Connector near gates, Green Receiver with Fan, isolated Red Connector, Jammer inside a box, multiple buttons near gates, Red Connector near Fans (again), and the triforce.

Image: No Relevant Image

Gold Gates are unlocked after "The Hexahedron" is complete:

Gold Gate (Green) - The Prisoner
1. The Jammer cannot leave that room.
2. You can use the Jammer for other gates but then become "The Prisoner". Is there another person who could help?
3. You'll have to be trapped inside with the Jammer in order to use it on something else.
Image: Image

Gold Gate (Blue) - The Electric Courier
1. After using it to get the Jammer, the Driller is used to create a window of opportunity.
2. The only thing that needs to ride on the Platform is the Jammer, which can be adjusted mid-ride.
3. The window with the gate over it is where both the Red or Blue laser will need to come through to make any progress.
Image: Image

Gold Gate (Red) - The Final Obstruction
1. The only way to open the last gate in the middle is with the Jammer, this will prove more difficult than first thought.
2. On the left, you'll need to trap yourself to get an unrestricted Blue laser.
3. On the right, you need to have both the Jammer and Connector free to move around.
Image: Image
Into the Abyss - Puzzles 1-8
This expansion was deliberately made VERY difficult. It's okay if a puzzle has you stumped for a bit. Don't feel pressured to look up solutions if you don't get it right away.

1 - Unexpected Outcomes
1. The Connector can feed the Inverter, but the Inverter cannot help the Connector.
2. The Inverter will cross too many lasers if you only use it for the Red Receivers, try sharing with the Connector.
3. Use the Driller as a sort of switch between 2 different states.
Image: Image

2 - The Other
1. You'll want an inner and outer set of Inverter connections. They can fuel each other.
2. What if you could change the colors of the Inverters halfway through crossing the gates?
Image: Image

3 - Oscillation
1. You'll need more than Red Connector vs. Blue Connector sort of setup.
2. Make it so that one Connector is inert while the other becomes active when the fence moves.
Image: Image

4 - Alternation
1. No Connectors need to go on the inside. Only one of them needs to be the alternator.
2. The Blue Generator needs a Red laser to open, and the Blue Generator can neutralize Red lasers...
3. ...there must be a way to automate this process.
Image: Image

5 - Tritogeneia
1. Set the gates to reach opposite sides of each other with a slight delay.
2. One Connector needs to hit all 3 Receivers...
3. ...but cannot be fed all 3 colors at the same time.
Image: Image

6 - Voyager
1. You'll need to complete your journey with a Driller and Connector on hand.
2. Reminder that you can pull items through Driller holes even if they're keeping a gate open.
3. You only need to use the Fan one time once you have all your items in that room.
Image: Image

7 - Stylite
1. To activate the Fan above, you'll need the Red laser and Fan from below as well as a helping hand.
2. Once you've obtained the 2nd Connector you can reposition both Connectors to free your other self.
3. Neither Connector needs to follow you up there.
Image: Image

8 - Metaphora
1. After obtaining the Inverter you need to reduce the excess.
2. Using the Inverter frees up an RGB Converter for you.
3. Try using the extra RGB Converter to create a second source of Green.
Image: Image
Into the Abyss - Puzzles 9-16
This expansion was deliberately made VERY difficult. It's okay if a puzzle has you stumped for a bit. Don't feel pressured to look up solutions if you don't get it right away.

9 - Color Theory
1. This puzzle is pretty open-ended and has multiple solutions due to a secret extra puzzle at the end.
2. It's possible to retrieve any previously used items if you look back (except for the Connector in the first room).
3. With 3 RGB Converters, you can make any color almost anywhere.
Image: Image

10 - Metathesis
1. The lessons learned in "Metaphora" and "Color Theory" are critical here.
2. You'll want to create two sources of Green that can replace each other.
3. The Receivers used at the beginning are still helpful towards the solution.
Image: Image

11 - The Ring
1. You have almost full access to the map, but must move items to out of reach places using the conveyer belt. Use the markings on the belt to space out items.
2. You'll need both Inverters, the Fan, and the RGB Converter.
3. Start with opening the gates on the right. However, you won't be able to grab the Inverter there right away.
Image: Image

12 - Tidal Lock
1. The two spheres are like planets and orbit around each other. Try powering one side to move them.
2. Start with moving the big planet to reach the Fan, Gravshifter, and Inverter.
3. Once you have all of your tools, you can now move the small planet instead.
Image: Image

13 - Here and There
1. An Inverter must be the starting point for the Blue Generator.
2. The end goal is to get the Inverter in the box to target the something on the first button. This is harder than it looks.
3. The Connector can provide a temporary source of Red to complete a loop.
Image: Image

14 - Reversion
1. "Reversion" refers to the idea of Inverters changing color multiple times.
2. To open the first gate, feed the Inverter two laser sources before taking one away.
3. For the second gate, you need to have a Red laser available for the Blue Receiver.
Image: Image

15 - Narrow Path
1. An additional reminder that with 3 RGB Converters you can make any color almost anywhere.
2. Once you gain access to the Accumulator, make it Green.
3. Only bust out the Connectors once you've got a plan for both Green and Blue at the final gate.
Image: Image

16 - Fragile Balance
1. I won't sugarcoat it, this puzzle sucks. It's extremely easy to softlock yourself in this as it requires making roughly 5 extremely precise laser connections that, if messed up, will force a full restart of the puzzle. It's miserable and the exact worst kind of Talos Principle puzzle design.

2. The general gist of the puzzle is to have a singular Inverter at the beginning that you open all gates with, and then slowly unwind it all to retrieve all of the Inverters. It actually breaks my brain trying to write hints for this since you have to be so exact in your placements. So, I'm breaking character and giving up!

Here's a video I found made by Intangir Voluntaryist, not me, showing the full solution if you give up on the puzzle:

Into the Abyss - Puzzles 17-24
This expansion was deliberately made VERY difficult. It's okay if a puzzle has you stumped for a bit. Don't feel pressured to look up solutions if you don't get it right away.

Complete any 8 of the puzzles above and the following now can be attempted:

17 - Consequences
1. Wait to release the Red laser until you're already on the move.
2. Have the Red Generator block the Blue laser after the Jammer is used, not before.
Image: Image

18 - Radiating Choice
1. You can still influence the flow of lasers from behind a gate. Generators will try to still reach you.
2. Link the Connector on the outside with everything, and control which color it currently uses with the other Connector.
3. The solution requires some setup beforehand.
Image: Image

19 - Trinal
1. This is a REALLY big puzzle. To start, try to free the bonus Connector and other versions of yourself that are stuck behind the gates. (Tip: The center of the large platform is hollow.)
2. Use the Fan in the middle to reach the top. Once up there, you can massively cut down on the amount of Connectors you're using.
3. How to even solve this puzzle will only become apparent after you've launched two of yourselves up using the Red Receiver Fan.
Image: Note: This photo was taken with Photomode due to the size of this puzzle. This angle is not normally possible.
Image

20 - Interception
1. Find a way to activate the Red Receiver while between the gates.
2. Hold open the first gate from within using a Connector, and stop the Red Generator while you're at it.
Image: Image

21 - Hierarchy
1. Despite what it may seem, this puzzle is not at all like Crossing a River.
2. You are trying to harness Green, but the colors needed are getting blocked. Use the other RGB Converter as a defensive tool.
3. Once one of the RGB Converter's has received both Red and Blue and is attempting to connect with Green Receivers, you'll know you've almost got it.
Image: Image

22 - Leviathan
1. Use the Driller to cheat the Red laser inside the fortress and...
2. ...to deal with THAT you'll need to collect an RGB Converter and Accumulator from the sides.
3. Above on the right are two moving platforms that should line you up with the Receivers perfectly.
Image: Image

23 - One-Way Link
1. Once the Inverter has dropped down, direct which Receivers activate on each flip of the level.
2. One Red Receiver turns off the first gate and the other turns off the bridge. The Blue Receivers are needed to turn the second gate off.
3. Both Reds Receivers cannot be active at the same time. Find a way to stop the left side when it's Red's turn.
Image: Image

24 - Halls of Power
1. The Receivers on the first hall and the second hall are opposite colors of each other.
2. In the middle of the second hall is a Connector; that's your ticket out of here.
3. Use the Connector to invert the Inverters after you've gotten through the first hall.

Thank you for the work you put into this-- I hate just being told the solution, and this gave me just enough of a nudge to figure out the one I'd been stuck on foreverrrrrr
JackTR 26.12.2024 klo 11.34
Into the abyss puzzle 23 can actually be completed by jumping onto the roof on the right after going up the fan. then you can circle around and jump onto the table where you finish the puzzle. To me it felt like it was like that by design because I couldn't see another way how to get the inverter down

For people confused about laser math, it seems daisy chained connectors are weaker the more you have.

It's funny how the brain works, in my case it was the 10th that frustrated me because I never managed to even remotely envisage the solution. And when I looked for help, it frustrated me even more because I found it really stupid, at no time did I think that lasers crossed in this far-fetched way could give this result.
On the other hand, I managed the 16 quite easily in 20 minutes, there's no need for any particular precision and I only got stuck once.

For a strong hint about the 16, I'd say something like "You need to supplant an inverter connected to the 4 red receivers, the blue inverter and the blue transmitter, with an inverter with exactly the same connections." or something like that.

Thank you very much for your help.

There is a much cleaner solution to Abyss puzzle 16 than what the Youtube videos are showing.
1. Connect to the blue source and the first 2 red circles to open the first door.
2. Use a second inverter to connect to all the red circles and the blue source and place it on top of the first set of blocks.
3. Grab the inverter from step one and connect it to the inverter on top of the blocks and the blue circles. Place it on ground on the side of the blocks towards the end of the puzzle.
4. Use the 3rd inverter to connect to all the red circles, blue source, and blue inverter, and place on top of the last set of blocks.
5. Remove the inverter from the first set of blocks. Connect to inverter on top of the last set of blocks and the blue circles. Place before the door near the exit.
6. Grab the inverter in the middle of the map from step 3 and bring it behind the last door.
7. Remove the inverters and place them on the switches.
Sulphuric_Glue 28.6.2024 klo 13.55
Into the Abyss 14 has an alternate solution that I believe is easier: The blue receiver is not ordinarily visible from the centre of the button, where the inverter usually snaps to, but if you put an inverter there first to use the snap slot then you can position another inverter RIGHT on the edge of the button, which will press it down and has line of sight to the blue receiver. This then creates a very easy path to the second blue receiver.

@cwook That is a less finicky solution, but still does not erase the rage I hold in my heart towards that puzzle lol

There's a better solution for Abyss Puzzle 16 - Fragile Balance: https://youtu.be/GTv70oklWqg
Doesn't require any hacky stuff
