A slight explanation of some of the mechanics and workings of the game
By Atrixsanna
Well, ingame there isn't much of a tutorial or help, and after my gentlemen and ladies friends asked me some questions on how this game was possible to be played if you aren't a game wizard.. A guide to explain just how this little game's insides tick.

Controls
Sound & Music
First go to pause / menu mode, then:
Mouse: drag the music and sound sliders to your desired volume
Keyboard: up arrow (or W) to select the music slider, down arrow (or S) to select the sound slider, and left/right arrows (or A/D) to adjust them
Controller: left stick up for the music slider, left stick down for the sound slider, left/right to adjust the selected slider

Keyboard
arrow keys or WSAD - rotation and thrust
escape - pause / menu mode
F - toggle mouse control (-25 point penalty, but can help if you struggle with rotation)
G - toggle pinpoint control (-25 point penalty, but can help if you struggle with keeping your capsule steady)
H - easy mode* (-50 point penalty, but basically makes your capsule out of tempered steel rather than cardboard paper)
L - show leaderboard (only works if in menu already)
space bar - toggle indirect thrust control (more precise but slower reaction)
R - restart (only works if in menu already, or dead, or victorious)
Q - quit game (only works if in menu already)

Mouse
pointer - rotates top of the capsule toward your mouse pointer (only works if mouse control is already enabled)
scroll wheel - indirect thrust control, increment or decrement by 5

Controller
left stick - rotation and thrust
right stick - thrust (if used it will disable left stick thrust for a while, so you can rotate with the left stick and thrust with the right stick for finer control)
X - toggle pinpoint control (-25 point penalty, but VERY overpowered)
Y - toggle indirect thrust control (more precise but slower reaction)
A - show leaderboard (only works if in menu already)
B - cancel pause / menu mode (only works if in menu already)

Select (the left one of the small buttons in the middle) - restart (only works if in menu already, or dead, or victorious)
Start (the right one of the small buttons in the middle) - pause / menu mode

Left bumper - quit game (only works if in menu already)
Right bumper - easy mode* (-50 point penalty, but your capsule learns how to clamweave)

*Note: Easy mode will also show a minimap in pause / menu mode, this can help you to memorize the map and plan your route ahead. To reset your point penalty back to 0 afterward, disable easy mode again and restart.
Tips and tricks
Using the altimeter: Altitude is measured right below your capsule, so if you fly over a huge chasm it will suddenly increase in amount. Also the seconds measurement is accurate, if you fall directly down at a steady 3 m/s and you're 6 m up, you will crash in 2 seconds.

Warning beeps: While you're flying, the capsule will have a velocity in a certain direction. If your capsule is about to hit something in the next 6 seconds of flying in an exact straight line, it will beep. The close you get, the faster beeps will happen. if it beeps very fast, you're probably about to crash. This beeping will only happen if you fly faster than 2 m/s, because when flying slower, crashing is just a soft tap and generally not dangerous.

Keeping your capsule steady: Around 65 thrust will cancel out gravity and keep you steady, as long as you keep the capsule straight. If you struggle with precise control on some of the harder sections like level 6 (high point landing pad after the 'teeth' secion) and level 7 ('squeeze through' section), you can enable indirect thrust control and keep your thrust steady on 65, then increase to 70-75 if you need to go up or lower to 55-60 if you need to go down.

Try to keep your movements minimal: short taps left/right/up/down will often give you far more control than big lurches, although this may cost more fuel and time.

Walking: If you've landed on both your legs but you're just off that landing pad, you can rotate onto your front leg, and then quickly rotate back, which will let your front leg skip and your capsule will walk ahead for a little burst. Completely free fuel-wise and a lot safer than taking off and falling back down again.

Minimap: Enable easy mode and go to pause/menu mode, you will see a miniature of the complete map for you to memorize.

Break a leg.. or both: If you can manage to break both legs in half, you can effectively roll your capsule to victory across the ground and squeeze through tiny holes with ease.

(ONLY with controller!) Engage autopilot: When using a controller, it of course would make no sense at all to enable "mouse" control mode. I mean, what mouse? Well fear not, if you press the Pinpoint control button (X) on your controller, it will not rotate toward your mouse, but instead do an entirely different and very cool feature: automatically perfectly balance out your capsule.
- First, if you're flying too fast, it will use full thrust to stop your uncontrolled flight;
- Then, it will keep your capsule suspended in one location,
- Finally, if you move your left stick in any direction, it will move your capsule in that direction too, so up is up, left is left, right is right and down is down.

Mouse control mode: If you struggle to control your capsule's rotation with left/right inputs, you can instead enable mouse control mode. This will keep your capsule's head pointing toward your mouse cursor (if rotation and gravity allows it, its not magic theres still physics). This way it should be way easier to keep your capsule steady.

Easy mode: This basically toughens your legs to be near-indestructible and your capsule's body is more than twice as tough as normal. Also enables the minimap in pause/menu mode.
Achievements
Altitude limit / Keep on rolling Hold your thrust to maximum while pointed upward, stop at about 10 fuel left, then start spinning for 69 saltos. Takes about 5 minutes to complete and will net you 420 bonus points. If you keep track of where your capsule is relative to the platforms, you may be able to continue the run using the increased fuel gains from platforms (40 fuel per platform instead of 20).
Minimalist To get this achievement, you MUST have both penalties active and get all the (25) platforms. It's up to you if you keep mouse and easy mode enabled, but the penalties must be there othewise your points total will be too high.
Almost perfect Achieve victory with max points minus 250, so either skip 200 points and activate -25 or -50 penalty for the final platform(s) or use mouse/pinpoint mode (-25 penalty mode) to do all the hardest platforms.
Speed - I've never reached gold, but I'm confident i'll get it eventually. Really, no advice here just use any modes you like and rush any platforms without destroying the capsule.
Frugal - Should be easy enough. Just hunt for the fastest speed, that way you'll also use less fuel because you've got gravity weighing you down for a shorter time. And use any modes and platforms you like.
Perfectionist - It's best to first play the game to its end with mouse control and/or easy mode enabled to scout out the various platforms and your best route, as the platforms will never change per level. And break both your legs at the start so you have an easier time on the small floating platforms and tiny holes.
360 no scope Perfectionist with the twist that you have to do exactly 1 flip before landing on every platform. Do a flip every time you take off so you don't forget during the harder parts! Best to do while hunting for perfectionist anyway.
The rest of the achievements should be straight-forward.

It's recommended to do the achievements in the order up above, that way you'll have an easy intro to the game and the various platforms you'll have to traverse before you go into the will-breaking perfectionist hard mode.
