Introduction
You often Heard in some videos, shows or Television programs That If you stand on this particular Planet you weigh Up to this number. Why ?

Because Its matter of Gravity Which Attracts anything with mass and Higher The Mass it will pull it with more force which means it will much harder to move of lift. That's Why a little piece of stone is easier to throw lift or move Whereas in case of large Rock You need Superman or Hulk.

So Here we will Describe how you can Calculate Your weight or Any weight on any celestial Body as long as you know Acceleration due to Gravity.

Formula is Simple Maybe Many of us have been Taught Since our Middle School.

F = ma

Where

F = Force in Newton
m = mass in kilogram
a = acceleration in metre per second squared

But in case of Acceleration Due to Gravity It can be written as :

F = mg

Now we know the Basic Idea to measure it Now Let's Try it.
Things to know

There is a Confusing point to many people When We Talk about Mass and Weight sometimes they used interchangeably but its not correct.

Mass is a physical Quantity that tell us Quantity of matter in a body on the other hand Weight is caused by Interaction of Mass and Gravitational Field. So they Aren't Same.

If you are in space you can't Use Balance or any other type of Weight Measurement Device which works by Gravity.

But Mass will Remain unchanged whether You are on earth or Neutron Star.

After Briefing From Here We start our work.
Step 1 - Know the Gravity

For Instance We have Chosen Saturn If you look in space engine, You will see some words and Numbers in upper left hand corner of the screen, There is gravity value which is in multiple of Earth's Gravity. For more information Bring up the Info Dialog Box, switch to Physical Properties and look for Average Gravity As shown Below. Note it

Step 2 - Solve The Math
In SpaceEngine Saturn's Acceleration Due to Gravity is about 11.17 m/s².
Let's Say Someone is 68 kg on earth and If he could Stand on this Gas Ball's Surface So According To Newton's Force Equation :

F = mg ; We'll use 68 as Mass and g we got from the info panel in SpaceEngine So :

F = 68 x 11.17

at this point many of you who are professional mathematician Can Solve just by Watching it But For Also Some People WHO SOLVE THE EQUATION 3 TIMES AND GET 3 DIFFERENT ANSWERS :) There is CALCULATOR For them.
Step 3 - Use Calculator (Noobs Only)
1. Open Calculator app.

2. Enter The Numbers.

3. Press Equal Sign to Solve The Equation Somebody might say Wow I would weigh So much Kgs.
Don't be Confused because These are not kg But Newton Are.

4. One Kilogram is About 9.8 Newton So we have To convert it into Kg Just Divide it By 9.8. Because 1 Kg Weight Exerts 9.8 N Force.

5. This is How much you would weigh on Saturn in kilograms, almost 77.5 kg.

At The End
By Using This Trick You can calculate weight on Any planets, Stars, Asteroids etc.

The 68 Kg guy would weigh on following different places :

Destination
Weight (kg)
Moon
11
Mars
26
Venus
62
Neptune
78
Jupiter
180
Sun
1900
Pluto
4
Proxima B
57
Trappist - 1e
63

Note : In some Case those Weight Can be Different than others Due to omitting Decimals, Rounding off, Estimation etc.That's why the close to exact Value is correct. Besides Planet's Atmosphere, Density, Pressure and Altitude can Change it

Thanks for reading this guide.

Have a Good Day xD
