How to make Three Bean Soup

This three bean soup is not only pretty but also very easy, healthy, and truly delicious. Top with chopped green onions and grated Cheddar cheese.

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 medium yellow bell pepper, chopped

  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, drained

  • 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers

Directions
Step One
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and bell peppers; cook and stir until softened, about 5 minutes.

Step Two
Stir in chicken broth, black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, and diced tomatoes. Cook until heated through, 10 to 15 minutes.

I replaced the pinto beans with chopped hot dogs and it came out TERRIBLE! 0/10 this recipe is not good.
