Blood 2 was made in 1998 and badly run on modern PC's.

When starting a game, in Display options, don't set a mode higher than 1280x960, if you do, game will crash.

If you see a black screen when you start the game, in Advanced menu select "Enable triple buffering" and "Always specify these command-line parameters".

If you have more than one core in your PC (i think it is), create a text file and paste this:
@echo off cd "<your game path here>" start /affinity 1 Blood2.exe exit
where "your game path here" is location of your Blood 2 game. Then rename the extension to .BAT , and place the file in the game folder. Then run it, i think it will help.

There is also a patch for HD resolutions (up to 1920x1080), you can find it in Google (paste "Blood 2 Widescreen patch"). You can't launch game with HD resolution, but you can do it at a lower resolution (no more than 1280x960), and change it in options, when the game is launched.

If your mouse is uncontrollable, reduce sensivity of the mouse in the Controls Menu.

Also, this can help: Start the game as an Administrator, Set Windows 98 Compatibility in file options or try a lower resolutions (800x600 or 640x480).
