Install the game normally with the old uPlay.
After installation close it.
Install Ubisoft Connect.
After installtion don't close Ubisoft Connect.
Start AC2 over Steam.
Close the Game Again
Start it over Ubisoft Connect. (it should be now registered as your Game)
now it should also be possible to start it over Steam

It's easy, just download the game until it's successful, loadUbisoft Connect on the entire website and open the game like that, don't forget to log in at Ubisoft Connect. Damn, I wasted 2 days with this system. If no one told me, I wouldn't know.

It's an admirable game company. I really like this game company. But please write in detail about how to fix it. It's hard to find. If you don't really search for it, you probably won't be able to fix it.

bro thanks. yeah idk why they never just updated this game to work with ubisoft connect. which would then make the exclusive dlc stuff work too. but eh at least i can play the game now. ur a lifesaver
