Don't know how many trekkies on my friends list, but Darmok is one of my favourite episodes, not just in TNG, but in all Star Trek. It's about an alien tribe that communicates exclusively through myths and stories, through picturesque comparisons with past events turned metaphors, totally fixated on history. It reminded me a bit of communions in this game and communication through memories and associations, visual comparisons with subjectively coloured past. It's a personal history here, but one that became collective by slowly turning more and more into myth.
