Descripción
Sir Robert L. Borden BTI was a high school located in Toronto Ontario, Canada. The school opened in 1966 as "Sir Robert L. Borden Secondary School" as the second trades focused school in Scarborough and was designed by "Abram and Ingleson". The campus has since been expanded once when in 1974 a small addition to the classroom wing was added, as well as a new Auto Mechanics Shop. In 1987 the school would be given the "BTI" (Business and Technical Institute) designation and would be one of 3 BTI's in Scarborough (the others being Bendale BTI and Timothy Eaton BTI both of which I have made for the workshop). Like the other two BTI's, Borden would find it self a dumping ground for underachieving and problem students. In 2016 due to declining enrolment and the Toronto District School Boards desire to close its trades focused schools in favour of combining them with their normal High Schools, Sir Robert L. Borden BTI would be closed making it the second BTI to close after Timothy Eaton BTI closed in 2009. However unlike its two closed counterparts, the Borden campus was not torn down and still remains as the city and school board decide what to do with the property; with the most likely outcome being the campus becoming a community centre.

This high school features: 19 Standard Classrooms, 2 Science Labs, Shops Classrooms, Double Gym, Cafeteria (with stage), and a Library.
