Thanks for clicking on my Ashes of Sker Hotel guide! I recommend playing through the map at least once first, as it does provide you with direction for the first half of the story and it's quite fun! :)

The main objective for this map is pretty simple, so here are some light instructions to aid in your journey where I felt they'd be helpful :)

Here are all of the spawn locations for the teleportation platform canisters that I have ran into!



In the Ground Floor Waiting Area, near where you can adjust the game's difficulty.



In the Ground Floor Grand Hall, under the navigation system/behind the stairs.



In the Ground Floor Chapel which you can get to by running straight down the long hallway off spawn.



In the Basement Kitchen, closer to the center of the basement area. You can get to this location by running down the West stairs, taking a right through the hole in the wall, and running through the kitchen area until you get to the other end of it.



In the Basement Room, next to the Fast Hands perk. You can get to this location by running past the Super Charger in the Basement Furnace (where you charge the cylinders) and continuing through the Basement Cells, Mannequin Room, and then by opening a door on the inside edge of the large hallway.



In the Basement Mannequin Room, near the weapon buys and across from Shock N Load. You can get to this location by following the instructions above.

For this stage, you will need to complete objectives for three different locations... have fun!



After you've interacted with the Rat on the stage, you will need to find five parts. They are located in:



The Basement Room, near the Fast Hands perk. This is the area that is a square inner hallway.



The Basement Storage, near the ammo machine.



The Ground Floor Reception, to the right of the weapon buys.



The First Floor Library, where you are able to get the Elixir of Life and the Howler.



The Ground Floor Theatre, sitting on a bench near the teleporter.



Save an enemy and run around. It can be annoying when you're learning the map, but it gets better as time goes on.



This is just easy kill farming, no sweat!

Once you have triangulated Isaac, head back to spawn and stand near the navigation system. You will have to stand within its radius and defend it, then you can teleport to the boss fight.

Interact with the God Killer storage device and a stranger will appear next to it. Shoot the stranger to start the next step.

You will now need to find and shoot three different strangers hidden across the map. I have ordered the locations in the route I check them, so follow the screenshots in order to find all of the strangers quick!



When you're looking to go down the East Wing Stairs, the stranger will be standing on the floor over the stairs on the part that has not collapsed.



The stranger is standing in the inner window of the Basement Room. If you're standing looking at the Fast Hands perk, do a 180, and the stranger will be slightly to the right in the window.



In the Basement Office, the stranger will be standing behind the desk.



In The Void, this stranger can be found directly behind the interactable you used to start the keycard quest in the middle of the dark.



In The Labyrinth, there may be a stranger somewhere in a dead end. Good luck.



In the Theater, to the left of the stage.

Go downstairs to the Basement Cells where there is an electrified doorway. Interact with the electricity to start this step.



Diagonally across the Basement Cells in the opposite corner, this box will spawn. Interact with it to open it.



Opening the box will spawn a lamb. Escort it to the Ground Floor Chapel. Be careful, when the lamb reaches the Ground Floor Chapel it will explode and enemies will spawn surrounding you.

A new button will spawn in The Void. Interact with it to spawn Abominations and a new button. Keep interacting with the new buttons until the mini boss spawns, then kick its ass!

In the Labyrinth, find the power box with the lamb in front of it and get the blue electric type enemy to zap it. You need to find and zap three power boxes in total, all with their own lamb in front.




If you get the enemy to zap it correctly, the cylinder will light up as shown in this picture.

Please be aware that when the third power box is zapped, there will be no indication that the step is completed at this time. Count how many boxes you have zapped, and when you have ensured that you have done three, you can move on.

Upstairs in the First Floor Library, there will be four piles of rats next to a pink glowing symbol. Count the number of each rats in a pile, and that will give you the order to shoot at the heads like you have done in a previous step.



The heads to shoot at are in the corner on the opposite side of the library from the Howler.

Travel back to the main area and head down to the Basement Cells where you will find the once electrified doorway clear. Grab the newly unlocked seal and head back to the boss area to finish what you've started. Good luck, and congrats on completing the hidden objective!

Complete The Ashes of Sker Hotel on Nightmare Difficulty

The wonder weapon for this map is pretty good, so utilize it well. This isn't too difficult if you play cautiously and leave most of the objectives for the ends of rounds, but be careful with the small hallways... they caught me a couple times while learning this map.

Complete The Ashes of Sker Hotel under 25 minutes

Use the first Killerwatt round to shoot the faces in the darkness with the Howler. If you can't do this by the first Killerwatt round, restart and try your luck with cylinders again. I managed to do this achievement on Normal difficulty, but it was tight. Nightmare felt too dangerous/expensive and anything below Normal is ungodly slow, so Hard is most likely the sweet spot.

Escort all Lambs in under 5 minutes

This one is quite easy unless you get super lost. I'd recommend saving an enemy at the end of the round, running the lambs through with the one little fella, and then you should have no problem popping this achievement.

Survive a Dark Round without receiving damage

You can use corners to your advantage to pop this achievement. I crouched at the top of the staircase in spawn behind the railing (next to the navigation system) and jiggled around the edge to shoot the zap fellas.

I'd recommend starting a game with this achievement in mind, so you can run to get a high damage and/or high ammo capacity weapon with Fast Hands to ensure you can kill the zap fellas quickly enough.
