You are given a device that integrates a real messenger into Stormworks.
Communicate with your friends over long distances.
Each user also acts as a repeater, extending the network's coverage.

There are two design options: classic and neutral.

Before you start, you will need to select a 4-character username.

You can also set it to spawn with a pre-assigned name. (Please do not change anything other than the first two items)

After registration, you will access your contact list, which will likely be empty.

To message another user, first add them to your contact list by clicking the "new" button.
Then, enter their four-letter name.


Now, by clicking on the desired contact, you can enter your conversation.

In the top right corner, there is a button to exit the interface, and below the horizontal line next to your nickname is your typed message. The maximum length is 110 characters. Once typed, you can send it by either clicking on the input field or pressing the Enter button on your keyboard.

Since we didn't create a user named new1, the attempt to message them failed.
The controller tries to reach the recipient for 10 seconds. If unsuccessful, it marks the undelivered message in red.
The same will happen if the recipient is out of our network's range.

If a user is registered, you are automatically added to their contact list, and their unread message indicator lights up.

There are many additional features I'd like to include, but due to character limits, some had to be omitted. If you have questions about why there's no way to scroll through message history or send emojis, or if you'd like to see the interface in another language, please refer to this image:

In this case, you can download an addon that provides uninterrupted communication in all populated areas. With a directional antenna, you can even communicate from space with Earth and the Moon.
