Bro same. I just finished the game on my Samsung SyncMaster CRT at 1440x1080 75hz. Inconveniently the videos were stretched, but on a CRT you can quickly fix it in OSD. Horror games go so hard on CRT.

The image actually very sharp and clean. It looks better than most LCD displays in a dark room. The real advantage for horror games is the perfect black levels. The 4:3 aspect adds to the spookiness because it restricts peripheral vision

The computer is modern, and quite high end. It's just the monitor that's old.
