Introduction
Welcome to my Ghost of Tsushima 100% achievement guide. This is my first guide ever, and any advice on how to make the guide or any future guides better for everyone else is always welcome. This games achievements are very straightforward, and overall a very enjoyable 100%. My recommendation is play through the games story at your own pace, then come to the guide for assistance on any achievement your are missing. As previously stated in the achievement road map, none of the achievement are missable. The biggest thing is to remember to save a lot as the game can be buggy at times, causing some missions to be unable to be completed or some collectibles (even if interacted with) to not show up as collected. With the only fixes being loading a previous save or starting a new save file all together.

*Since the directors cut includes the Iki island DLC do note that collectibles tracker under the in-game menu will show a different number than what is actually required for completion of the base game. Eg. Lighthouses will show 1/10 completed, however only 8/10 are required to complete "Light the Way" Achievement as the other 2 Lighthouses are located in the DLC. Sashimono Banners are not required to be collected at all. Below are numbers required to complete the Base Game only.
  • 61 Side Tales
  • 7 Mythic Tales
  • 18 Hot Springs
  • 16 Bamboo Strikes
  • 16 Shinto Shrines
  • 8 Lighthouses
  • 49 Inari Shrines (Fox Dens)
  • 19 Haiku
  • 25 Duels
  • 2 Dye Merchants
  • 30 Vanity Gear
  • 1 Pillars of Honor
  • 20 Records
  • 20 Mongol Artifacts

Quick Study
Learn the Stone, Water, Wind, and Moon combat stances.

One of the combat mechanics in Ghost of Tsushima is the stance system. You must unlock each stance in order to unlock this achievement. Just as the description states the 4 stance are Stone (unlocked automatically), Water, Wind, and Moon. Progress towards unlocking the stances are obtained by killing Mongol Leaders. You will need to kill or observe 20 leaders to unlock all the stances. Mongol leaders can be found during the Main quest, in Mongol camps, Mongol Stronghold, and in some side quests. When a Mongol leader is found (as long as you have found them in steal) you may have an option to "observe" them and would give you 1 point toward unlocking a stance, you may then gain another stack by killing them granting you a total of 2 points for that Mongol Leader.

The Ghost of Legend
Build your Legend to earn the title Ghost of Tsushima.

Legend in this game is just a different way of saying level. In total there are 11 ranks to progress through and each rank contains a certain amount of technique points that can used to upgrade Jin's abilities. Legend can be obtained by completing Main quests, Side quests, Mythic tales, and liberating Mongol territories. You can also gain small amount of legend by saving civilians that you randomly encounter in the world. Once you achieve the 11th and final rank this achievement will unlock.
Exploration Achievements
The Exploration part of the guide will be what takes up most of your time to 100% Ghost of Tsushima. I wont post links to videos on where you can find collectibles and the activities as Sucker Punch did us all a favor and put an armor (Traveler's Attire) in the game that you receive early on that guide you to the locations of all collectible. With that said a bit of advice that can save you time from pointless hours of clearing the map from the white fog is that, liberating an entire section of the map will clear all of the white fog for you, and show "?" for certain activities you have yet to complete (Fox dens, bamboos stands, shrines, etc that you haven't collected in the region of the map will show up as "?"). So don't be like me and waste 4 hours running around the map to clear the white fog when it gets cleared for you. My recommendation would be to play through the story normally and clear anything on the map you stumble upon as once you have completed the main story all the locations of the areas that contribute to the liberation of a region that you haven't discovered will be shown on the map. If you'd like to personally track your progress this site if fantastic for that https://mapgenie.io/ghost-of-tsushima/maps/tsushima.

Light the Way
Rekindle all the lighthouses of Tsushima

There are 8 lighthouses that need to be lit in order to unlock this achievement. 3 are located in Izuhara, 3 in Toyotama, and 2 are located in Kamiagata. You will complete 2 of them as part of a main story objective this is the Tsutsu lighthouse at Fort Ohira during "The Tale of Ryuzo" quest and the Akashima lighthouse at Old Togo Rice fields during the "A New Horizon" quest. The remaining 6 can be found along the coast lines. BE WARY AS THE LIGHTHOUSES ARE VERY GLITCHY, I ESPECIALLY HAD TROUBLE WITH THE 2 MANDATORY LIGHTHOUSES IN THE QUESTS JUST MENTIONED. MOST NOTABLY THE TSUTSU LIGHTHOUSE WOULD NOT MARK AS COMPLETE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I TRIED RESETTING OR LIGHTING IT. THE SOLUTION THAT WORKED FOR ME WAS LIGHTING THE TSUTSU LIGHTHOUSE THEN FAST TRAVELING TO THE OTHER 7 LIGHT HOUSE AND DOING THEM OVER AGAIN ONCE THAT WAS DONE THE ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED.

Have a Nice Fall
Kill an enemy with fall damage by knocking them off a ledge

Let me begin this by saying "knocking them of a ledge" can just be removed from the achievement description as you truly unlock this achievement but simply killing someone through fall damage. This is done by using the charged heavy attack 'Typhoon Kick' while in Wind stance. The 3 methods are as follows find a cliff and lure an enemy there and simply kick them off, 2nd find a mongol camp and climb an archer tower damage the enemy archer to low hp then kick them off the tower. Finally and i how i got the achievement is while on a small ramp or incline while the enemy is low hp kick them down and the height might just be enough to trigger fall damage and kill the enemy (definitely not the best way but how i got mine out of sheer luck).

Ghost stance will be unlocked during "The Ghost of Yarikawa" main quest. You can kill up to 3 people during each stance activation. Witness Protection
Shoot a Terrified enemy with an arrow while they are fleeing

There are a lot of way to terrify enemies. Winning standoffs, Using poison darts, Using ghost stance, unlocking and using the terrifying perfect parry skill. The easiest way to do this and how I did it is by doing it in Act 2 during "The Ghost of Yarikawa" quest. There will be a lot of enemies and shortly after you unlock ghost stance/use it a lot of enemies will run away terrified simply pull out your bow and shoot them. If you are past this quest the next easiest ways to do it by either using the ghost armor as kill have a chance to terrify enemies, poison darts, or by winning standoffs just remember to shoot the running enemies with an arrow.

In total there are 25 duels that need to be completed for this achievement to unlock. There are 5 duels that aren't done during the tale and must be found to complete "The Six Blades of Kojiro" mythic tale. Aside from those 5 all other duels are completed during main quests or side quests.

Pride of Ishikawa
Achieve bronze or higher on all Archery Challenges

A New activity added in this DLC are the Archery challenges. This activity will require you to shoot paper lanterns with your bow within a time limit. In order to get a bronze you must shoot all lanterns within 22 seconds. There are 8 Archery challenges you must complete however, only 7 of them are shown on the map the 8th is hidden and happens to also be an unwritten tale required for the 'Common Courtesy' Achievement if you can follow the guide there to obtain the 8th and final archery challenge. Also I would recommend you use armor/charms that increase your concentration/archery skills.

Monkey See
Embody the spirit of the monkey on Saruiwa

The only real Misc. achievement in the DLC, this can be acquired by performing specific actions on 3 stone monkey statues located in the southwest of the map, there is a small peninsula with a monkey sanctuary located on it that requires a bit of platforming. Within this jumping puzzle animal sanctuary there are 3 monkey statues that need to be found. When you first enter the puzzle you will see a crack in a wall directly head of you (this is the main path forward) to your left you will see a grapple point, use this point and climb to the top. When you get to the top, you will see a rope that will lead you to the first stone monkey, you will see this monkey is covering his ears you must play your flute at which point a small cut scene will play indicating you have done this part correctly. Head back down and proceed on to the crack in the wall. Continue down this path and as you head around the outside of the mountain, you'll come across a rock tunnel going uphill, and some ledges to climb on the right-hand wall. Jump on the first handhold and it'll immediately crumble, meaning your only path is down. Climb down and you'll find the 2nd stone monkey covering his eyes, in an alcove with a painting of a samurai throwing lightning. Simply throw a smoke bomb, and you should get a small cut scene. Climb back up to the rock tunnel and, just after it, you'll find a thin bridge of bamboo. Walk across it and then use the grapple point at the far end to start climbing downwards. When you land on the third ledge you can walk around, look South to spot a grapple branch. Use it and then either swing out and let go to safely land in the pool below, or let go while still to drop and grapple onto another point on the wall further below and climb down from there. The pool will have a small shoreline you can climb onto with the 3rd stone monkey on it, this one holding its mouth. All you need to do is bow, If you’ve already been to the top of Monkey Sanctuary, the achievement will have unlock if not simply retrace your steps and climb to the top where the sanctuary is located your achievement will unlock shortly.
Legends Mode
The final part of the guide, completing all the achievements in this section should take you roughly about 30 hours. All the achievements here are easy to obtain albeit the 'Transcendence' achievement will take you some time and will most likely be that last achievement you obtain. Legends mode is an online mode in which you select a class and play different game modes all of which are PVE with the exception of Rivals which is a PVEVP, but we will get into that later. You will obtain most achievements on your way to building you character to participate in the raids, but without further delay lets get into the achievements.

Promising Start
Complete a Legends Mode story
True Understanding
Complete all Legends Mode stories on a single difficulty

Both of these achievements are obtained by playing the 'Story' game mode of Legends. There are 9 stories in total, each containing 3 difficulties bronze, silver, and gold. In legends mode your character has a Ki level which is tied directly your gear, as each piece of gear has a score that increase your Ki level the higher it is. After completion of every game mode you will get gear, make sure to always equip the highest level gear you have regardless of rarity. The Difficulties are tied directly to your Ki level and have a cap of what level the gear you obtain will be. My advice since you are just starting is play all 9 mission on bronze and by the time you are done with all the mission you should have enough Ki level to play silver mission and play other modes.

Self-Actualized
Reach rank 20 in any role
Ultimate Warrior
Reach rank 20 with all roles

Legends mode has 4 classes to play: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin. While above i explained the Ki level each class also has a class level. Exp for these classes are obtained by completing Story mission, Survival, rivals matches, etc. This is by far the most boring part of the Legends mode achievements as the fastest way is to get to level 20 is to run the 1st story mission 'Severed Hearts' on the highest difficulty you have unlocked, Once you have gold Story mission unlocked level to 20 will be a breeze the biggest hurdle is getting gold difficulty unlocked. When you understand how to speed run the first mission you'll be able to complete it in 6-8 mins depending on the modifiers you get. Once you get your 1st class to lvl 20 then followed by the 3 remaining classes both achievement will be yours.

Champion of the Kami
Win a Legends Rivals match
A Painful Blockage
Summon five Shades in a single Rivals match

Both of these achievements are really easy and can be done offline, simply hop on a rivals match and set matchmaking to off when the match starts, kill the enemies on your side and collect their Magatamas. Buy 3 shades and keep buying the Fire Hwacha until you get 65 points accumulated. Now, defend the point that will spawn for 3 waves of enemies. Once you do that, the match will end and the game will count that as a win and you will obtain 'Champion of the Kami' achievement do not leave the match and simply rematch after the game has ended. This time you will collect 10 magatamas and use it to buy 2 more shades if done correctly you will unlock 'A Painful Blockage' achievement after this you can simply quit out.

Ultimate Truth
Complete the final wave in a gold Survival

Survival mode is just like it sounds you must survive 15 waves of enemies while also defending 3 point from being taken over. Gold difficulty for survival is unlocked when your ki level is at the 75 minimum requirement however I recommend waiting to do this until you have at least Ki level 90 as doing it below 90 will be very difficult. Once the 15th wave is completed the achievement will unlock.

Honor Bound
Bind a piece of gear to a class
Cursed No More
Purify a Cursed piece of gear

I've put both these achievement together as they both go hand in hand. In order to bind a piece of gear to a class your gear item must be Ki lvl 110. You can obtain a lvl 110 gear piece through finishing a platinum survival match or by reforging a lvl 105 gear to lvl 110. Once the item is bound to a class the 'Honor Bound' achievement will unlock, this is where both achievement go hand in hand. cursed gear WILL NOT DROP until you have bound 1 item to any class after this point cursed gear will begin to drop on difficulty Gold+ game modes. Cursed gear must then be purified by equipping the item and completing a challenge listed on the items passive, the challenge will be something like kill 10 enemies while they are fire, once completed in the menu select the purify option and the item will disappear and the achievement will unlock.

Transcendence
Complete all 3 Raid chapters

Finally the last achievement! As much as I would like to trying to explain this achievement and how to do each chapter via text, it would be near impossible. Chapter 1 takes 30-40 mins, Chapter 2 is the longest and take about 1 hour-1h 30 min, and Chapter 3 takes about 5 mins. With that said I will post some videos of in depth how to complete guides on each of the 3 chapters. I also recommend going to this discord group https://discord.com/invite/ghostoftsushima they have a dedicated raid channel and plenty of people in there that are willing to sherpa newcomers on how to complete all 3 raids for the first time. Trying to do this with randoms on matchmaking is truly a nightmare and I don't see how chapter 2 could be done with randoms.

Conclusion
Congrats if your here you have 100% the game! Thanks for reading, this if my first ever guide and I hope to make more in the future. So any criticism on how I can make these guide better moving forward is appreciated. Keep in mind I purposefully tried to be as detailed and provide as many tips as possible and what I did to obtain the achievements. In all honesty this is quite hard due to the characters limits imposed by steam but if less detail is wanted i have no problem editing this guide and removing stuff to make it easier to read. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will try to help to the best of my ability!
