The only requirement is that you have completed the into Tale and you have access to free roam, after that you can go to the Tale and start the glitch.

You want to head to here on the map to start the tale "Whispers in the woods."



Once there you will want to find this at a crossroad.

Play through the Tale (walk to the sounds) until you reach the raided camp to investigate, once there keep moving until you get to the mongol camp, kill them in any way you like it doesn't matter. Once everyone is killed it should look like this and the silk is the white cloth on the ground.


Pick up the silk then restart from the last checkpoint and that's it, you'll spawn in facing away from the camp so just turn around, grab the silk and restart from last checkpoint over and over again until your happy with the amount.

NOTE: DO NOT COMPLETE THE TALE: unless you are confident you don't need more. To save the Tale for later go into the journal and abandon the Tale, this allows you to come back whenever to keep doing the glitch.


This doesn't get rid of any Tales, it allows you to back out of the Tale and restart it at a later time.
