In Hitman: The World of Tomorrow, which takes place in the picturesque town of Sapienza, Italy, Agent 47 has two primary targets: Silvio Caruso and Francesca De Santis.

Silvio Caruso is a brilliant but troubled bioengineer working on a top-secret project. His recent assignment involves developing a DNA-specific virus capable of targeting and eradicating individuals based on their genetic makeup. This project, if successful, could have catastrophic consequences, and Agent 47 is tasked with eliminating him to prevent a global threat.

Francesca De Santis is a high-ranking member of the Ether Corporation and the project manager overseeing Caruso's work. She's deeply involved in the development of the virus and has the power to continue the project even if Caruso is removed from the equation. As such, she also becomes a target for Agent 47.

The mission is set in the scenic town of Sapienza, known for its historic buildings and beautiful coastal views. Agent 47 must infiltrate Villa Caruso, the large mansion where Silvio Caruso works and resides, and eliminate both targets. Along the way, he has the option to destroy the virus prototype to ensure that the project's data is irrecoverable.
