• Make a 4x4 grid as a starting place.
  
• Focus on trying to fill 2 of these 1/16th squares together, but try to make them not be next to each other.
  
• You will generally be short on vertical pieces, so work to use bombs on horizontals.
  
• Sometimes you may want to intentionally fill two of the squares on top of each other... because when they disappear, they'll form a new big vertical rectangle, which requires a horizontal cut instead of a vertical one... you can see me do this a few times in the video.
  
• Use your bombs wisely. Especially later in the attempt, use multiple bombs together.
  
• Plan your moves ahead. I had a few runs die at 180 splits because I messed up and when I split a large block, I created big squares that filled in, causing me to lose. In this video, you can see me do a better job (but not perfect, ala at 144 splits) of not screwing myself.

Doing all of these, and you should not have any trouble getting to 200 after a few attempts.
