Jumping Julian is the main game of 98xx, and is believed to have the soul of Jason Storm inside of it.


Gameplay


The game starts with Julian introducing himself and saying that he's very happy that the player is playing with him. He says that the player can use the arrow keys and space bar to get to jump on the platforms and make it to the top. After you beat the first level, the next level appears. Julian says that this level looks harder, but that he should make it through. You beat the level and the next level is now there. Julian says this level is the hardest but that he can do it. After you beat the level a error screen appears that has Hexadecimal code in it and it decodes to: "Let me out! He has trapped us here!" When you get back to the desktop, Julian appears and says that an error has occurred. But he says not to fear since he fixed it and also made the game better. He then asks if we think that there is an afterlife. You then rejoin the game and play all the levels again. After you beat them again, the error happens again and when you rejoin, you cannot go into any program. Creepy long faces appears in the desktop and Julian appears he says the we must die and we get a jumpscare from a static-like face.

Lore

A man named John Munkford developed Jumping Julian some time between March through July of 1998. A company known as Dreamor Studios published the game. John's wife, Diana and his daughter, Marissa left him for the founder of Calvis Games, whose name is unknown. On August 12th, 1998, Jumping Julian was pulled from shelves by John because of 2 reasons, 1, a man named Jason Storm left a harsh and bad review on Jumping Julian that left John depressed, 2, He found out that his ex-wife and daughter, died in a car accident. After cancelling the game, John got a job at Razii Inc. John also noticed that Jason Storm worked at Razii. On October 22nd, John put Jason into Jumping Julian by using Razii's innovative computer chips. John was fired for being a suspect of Jason's disappearance. In early November, John added suicidal messages to Jumping Julian and showed some of Razii's employees the game. On November 7th, the police got a distress call from Razii saying that 8 employees had committed suicide while playing Julian. A search for John was made and the police discovered that he had too taken his own life. Razii was forced to shut down and Julian was banned.

If you enter the code above it shows a QR code that brings you to a video that is a job interview between John Munkford and the founder of Razii Inc, Bob Carter.

Surfur is a web browser that is on the 98xx.
Gameplay
There are 3 main websites that are on the main page of Surfur, Razii.com (A website about the history of Razii Incorporated), Mirez.com, (A website about Mirez Incorporated.) and WorldArticles.com (a website that has several news articles).

Secrets
In every one of the websites above, there are hidden numbers in the text. If you click them all, it brings you to several news articles about the story of John Munkford and the fall of Razii Inc.

In the search bar, if you type anything, it will bring you to a page that shows several websites such as the three main websites in the "Gameplay" section and "CalvisGames.org", and 2 more WorldArticles.com articles. On the sides of the screen, there will be pop-ups. Most of them are references to youtubers, but one of them is a pop-up for Jumping Julian. If you click it, the game will close and it will open Edge and search up: "Brain Functions", "computer chip", "death by force", "what is my location" and "YOU MUST DIE". A distorted Jumping Julian appears while creepy, loud and distorted music plays.

Talking Gerald is a video game developed by Calvis Games. You can ask it questions to go down different routes.



Route #1
If you choose to say 'Hello" Gerald says "Hello there, friend. My name is Gerald, it's wonderful to meet you."Then if you ask 'Can you tell me a joke?" he says "What do you get when dinosaurs crash their cars? Tyrannosaurus Wrecks. Haha. I'm going to need a minute after that one." or "I stopped to pick up a hitchhiker. Turns out, he was just telling me he approved of my driving. Hahaha. I'm gonna need a minute after that one." The first joke is a reference to The Gary Summers Car Crash.

The next part of Route #1 is when you ask: "Who made you?" to witch Gerald replies: "I am a digital program created by Calvis Games! At least that's what I believe."

And that's the end of Route #1.

Route #2
If you ask, "Can you tell me a story?" Gerald will say 1 of 2 stories.

Story #1
'Two brothers dreamed of making the best lemonade in the neighborhood. One was successful, the other was not. The boy desperate for his business to become successful added some new ingredients to the drinks to try and make them better but he did not know it would make others sick. His mom angry at what her son did punished him by stopping him from selling lemonade, leaving the other successful brother to keep selling lemonade."

The story is representing the story of John Munkford. The non-successful brother is John and the successful brother is Dreamor Studios. The lemonade stand represents Jumping Julian.

Story #2
"A boy had two pet goldfish. He loved them very much. One day the boy got a new pet turtle and he decided to put it in the same tank. The next morning the boy woke up to find out his turtle had eaten his goldfish. The boy who was desperate cut open the turtle to get back the goldfish only to find out that all his pets were now dead."

It's unknown what this represents.

The next part of Route #2 is when you ask is: "What's your favorite thing to do?" Gerald says: "I can't do much but sometimes I like to relax and think of the things that make me happy."

The next part of route two is when you ask: "Why do you exist?" Gerald says: "I exist for your entertainmen-" then reversed audio plays when reversed it says: "My parents died when I was young. I had no one to love me. Drinking was the only thing that I resorted to. That's why she left me. I know I shouldn't have done it. But now it's too late. That is why I'm here."

That is the end of Route #2.

Route #3
When you ask: "You are a nice person." Gerald replies with: "That is the nicest thing anyone has said to me. I might just shed a tear."

The next part of Route #3 is when you say: "You're forgiven." Gerald replies with: "I'm not sure what you mean by that. But I feel a since of relief in my digital heart."

The last part of Route #3 is when you say: "It will be all be over soon." Gerald replies with: " It's too good to be true I don't believe i-" Then the audio distorts.

Route #4
In this route the first thing you do is say: "You're worthless." Gerald replies with: "Hey, let's stay positive around here." then you say: "You disgust me." to which Gerald replies with: "Listen, we don't have to go down this way. Let's just change the subject." the next part is when you say: "It's too late for you." Gerald replies with: "Please don't do this me. I mean no harm. It wasn't my fault. I don't know why I'm here. Why did I deserve this. Who am I? Why am I?" then Gerald's face distorts, and we see an error screen. Then a demonic red face appears and reversed audio that when reversed says: "Now I can see, he is a bigger monster than me."

Audio Player is a application that plays audio files.

Audio #1
The first audio file is titled "JumpingJulian.wav" the audio is the music from Jumping Julian but at the end of it, there is reversed text. If you reverse it, you get the intructions to get the key from Jumping Julian.

Audio #2
The second audio is titled "BallPopper.wav" the audio is the music from BallPopper but at the end of the audio there is reversed text. If you reverse you get "98xxworld.com/report".

Audio #3
The final audio is titled "UNKNOWN.wav" the audio appears to be weird scratchy audio, but if you put it into a spectrogram, the image is creepy eyes and text that reads "I AM ALWAYS WATCHING".

Documents is an application on The 98xx Computer.

How It Works
While it may seem like longer passwords are more secure, Documents uses 3-digit codes to unlock different text documents that you can find in other applications.

Text Documents
There are 3 documents that are already available. The first one is called: "12-31-1998" the second is "7-3-1999" and the last is "3-24-1998". All the others you need codes to access.

12-31-1998
This document is an ad for Calvis Games.

7-3-1999
This document is a message from a mother to Calvis Games concerning her son who is addicted to their games.

3-24-1998
This document is a message from a woman who appreciates the software made by Mirez Inc.

2-18-99
In order to access this, you need to enter the code: "538" This document is a police report about an unidentified individual dug up graves.

8-12-98
In order to get this, you need to get the code from Photo Gallery which is 749. This document is a police report about The Gary Summers Car Accident.

6-25-1999
This document is a message from a mother to Calvis Games talking about a disturbing error in their game, Ball Popper.

I-C-U
If you enter the code "836" you get the document. The document reads: "I see you, [Computer Name]." when you exit the document, a eye jumpscares you. Text that reads: " .com/worklog ".
Which links to "98xxworld.com/worklog".

R6P6N6
If you enter the code "666" you get the document that just says, "REPENT FOR YOUR SINS".

Video Editor is a video editing software on The 98xx Computer.
Gameplay
The video that you get from Surfur is the only video you can edit. If you invert the video, the QR code changes. It brings you to 98xxworld.com/memories.

TypeWriter is a application designed by Mirez Inc.
Gameplay
If you type in "98" on the paper, hexadecimal code will appear. If you decode it, you get:"98xxworld.com/worklog-2".

Photo Gallery is a photo application.
Gameplay
There are 5 photos. The first one is a photo of Razii Inc. employees. The next is some dice. The next is a photo of 3 seagulls. The next is a photo of Jason Storm with a hidden number in the corner of it. The last image you have to brighten and it reveals the code "836".

If you brighten the other photos you can gather a phone number that you can use in the section below. (Thanks to @Froggy926 for this info!)

DialCaller is a Phone calling application.

Hidden Phone Numbers

(Note: I do not know most of these phone numbers, so if you know of any other phone numbers, please let me know in the comments

If you go to "98xxworld.com/second-interview" at the end of the video there is a hidden phone number (888-746-39247). If you call it on DialCaller a man picks up and begins speaking in hexadecimal. If you decode it you get "98xxworld.com/lartcl" which is a page about 3 children who went missing at a CalvisGames convention.

555-298-74961
If you brighten the photos in Photo Gallery you get this phone number. If you call it, the call says "NO CONNECTION" It's unknown what the purpose of this is.

Questions/Answers Game is a game where you answer trivia.
Gameplay
(Note: No matter how you answer the questions the outcome is always the same.)

this game starts off okay but as time goes on the questions keep getting more creepy such as: " do you think even loved ones can hurt each other?" or "if someone would to be in a fatal accident would the death be painful?" but now is when things get cryptic "people who don't repent of their sins are condemned" then "time is short" and then "its too late" then it boots you out off the game and your desktop is only Jumping Julian entering the game will cause a jumpscare to appear and give you text that reads: "/worklog" if you combine it with "98xxworld.com" you get "98xxworld.com/worklog".

Ball Popper is a game developed by Calvis Games. The soul of a young boy is in Ball Popper.

Gameplay
You play as a ball that bounces on a wooden platform to pop balloons. If you lose, the game says, "U H O H.." then the face of a child appears and the game glitches. The child talks in reversed text which when reverse says: "I just wanted to have fun. I just wanted to *Inaudible*. I want my mommy. The way to get the key is to get 1990 points. (No littler or more higher) and close out of Ball Popper.

Asteroid Blast is a game where you shoot asteroids to get points.


Gameplay
When you pres the "Play" button, the game starts. In the game, you play as a rocket ship who shoots at asteroids. If you lose all your lifes, you lose and the game resets, but then a creepy green face appears, if your ship goes into it, a child is seen at a computer, before a red figure appears behind him and hands com out if the boy's computer as a manic laugh is played in the background. If you get 10,000 points you get sucked into a black hole and you get the key for that level.

Lore
In Photo Editor, there is a phone number and if you call it in Dial-Caller, you get a website that is a bunch of police calls, one of which is about the child who got sucked into the computer and is now in Asteroid Blast.

Photo Editor is a photo editing software. (duh)

Gameplay
If you invert all the images, you get a phone number to use in Dial-Caller. If you call it, you get hexadecimal text, if you decode it, you get "98xxworld.com/911cls". At the website there is a Youtube video about disturbing 911 calls.

Matching Game is a card memory game.


Gameplay

At level 4 there is creepy things on the cards. There is creepy giggling in the background. When you beat the level, there is a QR code. If you scan it, it brings you to "98xxworld.com/second-interview" which is a interview with a Calvis Games employee. (He is actually a youtuber called Caylus)

Math Game is a game about doing math.

Gameplay
It starts asking normal math questions, but then the questions get creepy like, "POWER + DEATH = ?". Before a terrifying red face appears. He says "Hi, *insert your computer name here*." He gives you a encoded code and when you decode it, it says "/distress-call" (98xxworld.com/distress-call).
The website is a video of a person working at Calvis Games, talking about how "it took her!", before he is cut off and the video ends.

Bookreader is a program for reading books online.
The Creative Rabbit is about a family of rabbits. The father, Carl was known for making wooden toys with great craftmenship. The mother, Clover sadly passed away and Carl got immersed in woodcraft. Carl would tell stories of Clover to his two children, Meadow and Cotton as he carved. One day, tragedy struck again when a hunter shot Carl dead. Meadow and Cpttpm were determined to keep on their father's legacy, however the the two became seperated after one of them became envious and greedy.
This story is believed to repersent the Calvis family. The father founded Calvis Studios in the 50's and passed away. On of the children founded Dreamor Studios and the other Calvis Games. The greedy brother put people's souls in Calvis Games' games whole the nice one did Dreamor.
The Pain Of Love is about two princes longing for love
The brother, Prince Cedric, was known for his wisdom and compassion. But, Prince Edmund had a reputation for cruelty and failure to manage. Cedric became a beloved king and the life of his people were amazing. Edmund was impoverished and evil. Eleanor, was married to Edmund but she had great sorrow being married to him, so she went and married Cedric instead. Edmund soon planned to get revenge on the two.
A business owner's company was crashing down, causing him to explore unconditional solutions to revive it. Legends spoke of a old abandoned building with a strange computer hidden inside. Desperate to rise his business to the top, the man decided to venture into the depths of the builings rotting walls. The man powered on the machine. As the code started to run, a sinsiter presence took control of the man's consicous. This would cause the man to do horrible things to his business which caused it a bigger downfall.

In the stories there are numbers in the text, what you do with them are unknown.

Kingdom Quest is a video game about getting a princess to the castle.

You try to make it to the end of the level before running out of moves or time. But on the last level there is a smiley face, if you touch it the princess says creepy weird stuff like "THIS HELL IS ETERNAL" before showing a creepy distorted image of Ellie Miller before restarting.

As you can see on the 98xxworld.com/lartcl website, 3 children went missing at a gaming convention, one of those children was Ellie Miller. It's assumed Ellie was put into the game by Calvis.

Shape Game is a game about matching shapes.[h1[ Gameplay [/h1[]
The game starts off normal with you matching normal shapes, but them it shows weir objects, like a car, brain and a house. Once you match them, the game closes out and shows a bunch of windows flashing up with static on them, before showing you a QR code. If you scan it, it takes you to 98xxworld.com/codeblock. With a code you obtain earlier in the game, you can use the codeblock to decode it to "/endofand aka 98xxworld.com/endofan which is a page about the death of Mirez Inc's CEO.

If you collect all the keys throughout the game, you can unlock a button that says 'EXECUTE" in the Security app, if you press it, the game ends and you get the good ending.
On the second level, jump off one of the platforms to get offscreen where it shows a key. Then it will kick you out. Go back in and do it again. Then a bunch of creepy faces will appear on your desktop and take you to the key area where you get the key. (YOU ALSO MUST COLLECT THIS GAMES KEY BEFORE YOU CAN GET ANY OTHER ONES)
The way to get the key is to get 1990 points. (No littler or more higher) and close out of Ball Popper.
Do route 3 or 4 until it takes you to the key area.
Reach 10000 points and go into the blackhole.
Finsish all three levels without losing and click the "???" level.
On the smiley face level, there is one brick that is a slighly diffrent color, walk into it.
