What is the Private Edition of Knockout City?
The "Knockout City: Private Edition" is a version of the game that was released by Velan Studios after the official servers were shut down.
It allows players to host their own servers and play with others to keep this game alive for those who loved it.
Why does the Game not work out for me
When you launch the game and are greeted by the title screen you most likely are getting an error message. This is because the Game tries to connect to a locally hosted server by default. In most cases you aren't running one however thus the error message appears.
How can I play with others?
There are currently a few publicly hosted servers for the private edition. In order to access those you will need the unofficial XYZ Launcher.

it has unnifical servers still up but not offical ones.

Are the servers still active? Do u know if its worth installing the Private Edition now? I had a break from playing the game and then I heard it becoming free. Took another break and now its seems to be dead.
