Report a translation problem
I think you'll find that you can't connect all of the cities on a continent to the same hub city (at least in Discover the World mode)...distance and number of passengers would quickly overwhelm the airport.
You can do internal/domestic hubs versus external/foreign hubs...but...you'll find that North America needs at least 3 connections to the outside world (I usually do them via Europe)...one for New York and maybe a few leaf cities...one for the rest of USA and Canada, and one for Mexico...

...And if you've increased the amount by which you win by using these methods, please let us know what your old best score was compared with what the results were for your first game after using this method.
