Fastest Grind Spots For CP AND GIL PER CHAPTER, Plus EASY 999,999 CP guide INCLUDED
By Zidane Tribal
If you want to take a break and draw circles with your thumbstick and tapping the A/X/1/etc. (yay for PC) like a mad man to rush out of the finished battles and on to the next. The goal of this guide is to give you a list of places to comfortably grind at per chapter (if necessary). I still remember when playing the PS3 version... 4 years ago, wow. The grinding must unknowingly be stored symbolically in our chrysalis memory which is why it never fades. #~PARA MEXER~#

Chapter 1-8: This is basically the beginning, enjoy it and get the hang of things.
Chapter 09: Inside/outside of the airship, the battles against the soilders are easy, 500 CP and sometimes 2,500 gil drops.
Chapter 10: The monsters are a bit more annoying than before. Same CP as Chapter 09, just harder to kill.
Chapter 11: Save north of Gran Pulse. Kill Behemoth King then Megistotherian. You'll net 6600 CP per battle. The drops are ok.
Chapter 12: Use Vanille's Summon-Death then kill a few soilders for a refresh of TP, then adamantoise. 40,000 CP and 150k gil. Uprgrade your weapons if you get lucky with drops.

In mission 55 obtain the Grow Egg, it doubles CP earned from battles.

If you're prepping up a bunch for Chapter 12, then let me help you make this quick. In Chapter 11 after beating the Behemoth King and Megistotherian with the Growth Egg (will net you 13200 CP). It should take 20-30 seconds per battle. So about 26400 CP per minute with the Growth Egg. After the battle go towards the Save Point and turn around, then get ready for another profitable battle. If you have Tier 2 weapons then the battles will FLY by (twice as fast). With this method you are easily looking at 999,999 CP per hour.

P.S.- I think Lightning is a girl persona of Cloud. Now all we need is Rain or Thunder.

Arguably, Mission 24 ("A Potent Sting" in Taejin's Tower, take the main lift to Fourth Floor and a secondary lift to Fifth Floor, it's in that room) is the best grind before Ch 13. The Mission stone and the Mark are in the same small room. The Mark is pretty much immune to magic, so just use Commandos. You get 6k CP and a 6k gil reward, plus drops, for maybe two rounds of combat. Use Growth Egg if you have it, then stack your accessories for strength and go nuts.

for the Cheat Engine option for against grinding, see what if the types of use u used in this game, if the purpose is for only saving the time to grind, it is absolutely worth it, especially some of us grew up and dont have so much times for game...dont get me wrong, I really grind it a lot to get all the weapons and also hunt all the trophies in PS3 version

I am using CE now, and I don't break the game rule too much, mostly only for CP, and for the gil, recommend dont change to 999,999 or more, just a little like 10,000 should do, cause we wont get all the weapon and equipement fully upgrade until the end of the game

Just Depends on what's ur purpose, if only for time saving, it's good, cause this is also a JRPG, Japanese RPG is really time consuming for grinding, unlike other RPG games like The Witcher 3 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey...

Regarding someone mentioning Cheat Engine (and I know this post is old but wth..) I really strongly advise against this. I played FF13 a few years back and ended up using it and just told myself "eh, I'll just use this and save myself several hours of grinding." Well, it ruined the game for me. It made the game quickly to be no fun at all and I hadn't played it again until recently where I've decided to stay away from it. I've done some grinding throughout my play, currently in chapter 11....But real quick I just wanted to say, although grinding does suck, there's something to be said about the feeling you get when you are so much more powerful from the hours you put into grinding vs. just using a memory editor to get the results. The satisfaction is much more rewarding. If you MUST use Cheat Engine then I suggest using it very seldomly and only rather small amounts of gil or cp boosts, because it WILL ruin the game for you if you just go all-out with it.

For GP

Try the two packs of Sacrifice's on the platform next to the portals in the last chapter. Before you lock yourself into the linear path to Freddy Whiterobe.
Turn down the difficulty for even more Perfumes.

Its easier than turtles, and far faster.
