I'm afraid I've dropped out of HellDiver 2 because it seems like yet another game that's just keeps changing, most of the changes I saw seemed barely play-tested, and because a teammate was lukewarm about having to sign up to Sony's system. Maybe I'm missing out on good fun - the game still seems fairly popular - but...I've had some good fun on other games too :-)
MACROS NEEDED in iCUE (or GHub?):
RIGHT = D
LEFT = A
UP = W
DOWN = S
next...
I bound in each separate macro this format of bind:
W = SHIFT + UP
A = SHIFT + LEFT
S = SHIFT + DOWN
D = SHIFT + RIGHT
These need to be set to retain their original key input too.
lastly...
SHIFT = SHIFT (and retains the same initial key input (I dunno why this works, but it's there for games, not just Helldivers to realize you're actually not just expecting another macro to piggyback off another non-legacy keystroke))
--- [FURTHER FINDINGS]: This can be used in any other game that forces you to mash SPRINT after any little trifling thing that breaks it.]
I just hope I saved someone else's pinky out there :)
