Description
Nivalen Defence Force Collection

Overview
With the Artemis’ entering of service, almost immediately the level of armour protection was outdated, and with the advent of new materials and techniques, a work on a second design begun almost immediately. With highly potent armoured vehicles emerging from both sides of the iron curtain, this lack of armoured ability needed to be remedied.

This new design would be named Anubis, and would incorporate layered armour, an automatic loader, and a 120-mm gun designed by SDSC. Ultimately, the automatic loader was deemed too unreliable and expensive to operate, and the design requirements were shifted to feature a manual loader

The project would be completed in 1974, and entered service the following year as the C16E0 ‘Anubis-1’.
The Anubis-1 was fitted with the 120-mm L/40 S1 Cannon, firing HEAT-FS shells with the assistance of a laser rangefinder, and a night vision display for the Gunner. The vehicle was equipped with SC1 Composite armour on the turret cheeks, which proved to be very effective at combating shaped charge warheads. Turret sides were equipped with 100mm at a 90° angle. The hull was equipped with 100mm of high hardness steel angled at 10°, with a lower front plate of 120mm angled at 18°. Protection would drop off to 60mm on the sides of the hull.

The vehicle was propelled by a 22-litre V12 Diesel engine providing 720 horsepower at 2200rpm. The power train was fitted with a 3-speed automatic transmission, going 54 kilometres per hour (34mph) forwards.
In 1983, the Anubis-1 would be updated to C16E1, with the introduction of a new fire control system with a first-generation thermal imager, an improved laser rangefinder, and automatic computed lead. It would also incorporate rubber steel-reinforced sideskirts into the design. Again in 2002, the Anubis would be updated to C16E2, with the application of applique composite screens on the turret and hull sides. Finally, in 2014, the Anubis would see its final upgrade adding angular AMAP composite armour to the turret cheeks and mantlet, as well as a Vanguard-20 RCWS operated by the Commander.

Ultimately ~760 would be built, with numerous chassis converted to other roles, such as armoured recovery vehicles and armoured bridge layers.

Driver Operation Notes
In the event of low vehicle power, the vehicle can be revved in neutral to generate more electricity. The auxiliary power is in the form of an array of batteries, and will slowly drain if used. The engine may overheat due to prolonged usage in warm environments paired with low maintenance, so it is important to pay attention to the Temperature gauge.

Labelled on the steering column (button 1) will activate Headlights. The second button will activate the horn. Paired with the blinker indicators, you can use the Hazard lights button (button 3) to indicate a hazard. The reverse and brake lights will activate as needed automatically, but in the event stealth is required, they can be disabled using the Brake Light Disable switch. This will NOT Disable hazards or blinkers, so it is the driver’s job to disable those if stealth is required.

On the electrical viewport is a projection of the gear, blinker usage, and speed in kilometres per hour. When going slowly, the vehicle will automatically neutral steer. The driver can also manually neutral steer by shifting into neutral and turning. The viewport will project FWD for forward, NEU for neutral, and REV for reverse.

Gunner’s Station
Activate the Sight Power, Turret Power, and Azimuth Indicator as necessary. Activate the Master Arm to fire weaponry.

Because of this game being shit, the weighting on the RWS will make it drift. Otherwise, the turret drift is most likely the hull moving slightly, so yea

Thank you tho!!!
