You have opened one of the best guides to learn about all the monsters in content warning! You are either here because you searched up online "all monsters in content warning," and realized all the sites only had half of the monsters and barely any of their information was correct, or because you were scrolling through the community tab on steam. Either way, this guide will help you in your adventures a lot.

Each monster will be listed alphabetically. I'm not aware of what the official names of these monsters are so each monster is named accordingly to what they do or how they look.

The quotes under each screenshot are real things my friends and I have said while encountering these monsters.

Each monster will have a threat level next to the name, scaling through 1-6, 1 being the least dangerous, and 6 being the most dangerous.

There will also be a red, yellow, or green circle under each monster, indicating if it is safe to walk right next to them or not.







SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

"I'm gonna call him Piano Man."
I'm not too sure about this one. It attacks by reaching out and grabbing you with its very long arms. I have no clue how to get rid of it, but it seems to let go when somebody else is around. You can hear him normally from a mile away because of the sound of piano keys playing when he walks around.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"Dang guys, I'm dead."
This one is a weird one. It uses some sort of star wars force to create a dust cloud and bring you closer to it, where it then activates a portal thing that instantly kills you. Shock stick works but it doesn't stop the attack. In my opinion, it is best to view this one from a distance.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"IT'S BIG SLAP. RUN RUN RUN."
Seeing this thing in your game means you have two options. A. Lose, or B. Return to the surface. If this thing gets near your entire team you are all going to die. It lunges at you and slaps you. Two slaps is enough to kill you. I think the shock stick might work, don't quote me on that though. Even if it does work, it will just get back up and continue to kill your entire team. In order for this thing to stop attacking everybody is for one person to lure it away from the group. They will most certainly die, however.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"Dude, I hate this damn monkey."
This guy is straight forward. He throws bombs at you and jumps on you. You can throw the bombs back at him and he will explode. He can also light the bombs attached to him, run at you, and explode. If you see him glow, run.

"Uhhhhhhhh..."
You might be thinking to yourself, what the hell is Bowser 2.0??? Well, you'd be right about the hell part. This creature is straight out of hell. It is a giant tortoise that breathes fire. Sound familiar? I've encountered this thing too many times. There is absolutely no way to avoid this guy except for running, and risking your life by using a shock stick. I suppose it turns slow, so use that to your advantage.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"What happens when you press the button?"
A literal walking button. Pressing the large red button on top makes it explode and insta-kill you. Fun! You should be fine as long as nobody presses the button.
🟢 - SAFE TO WALK

"Because I shot a spider with it." "Just shoot me in the face." "Oka-"
Had to ask my friend @goat cheese 8 for the video he saved when we all found this guy. Big thanks to him for sending in the video (hes the guy getting his neck snapped lol). The cam creep is weird. He only appears on camera and is relatively rare. Basically what he does is he teleports behind people and snaps their neck. You will know he is around if you hear constant heavy breathing. This means he is stalking and hunting a player. To check who is being hunted, move away from other players until you no longer hear breathing. When everybody has moved away from each other, the person who still hears breathing is the person being hunted. If this person being hunted holds the camera, the cam creep will kill them. As for the cam creep's attack, it is very easy to dodge. Simply move out of the way of his very slow neck snapping attack. You will only know he is doing this attack by checking the camera. When he appears, he is attacking. This is the only time I've encountered him and you bet when we saw goat cheese fall dead on the floor we got the hell out of there. We didn't see what killed him until we checked the footage. From what I know, when this guy appears, somebody is dying.
🟡 - TREAD CAREFULLY

"I can't believe I finally found this thing."
You might be wondering, how would a caterpillar be the lord of snails? I'm not sure but it is and its best not to question it. This guy will fly around aimlessly. It doesn't attack, but what it does instead of attacking, is three times as deadly. It will shoot webs, kind of like the spider, that spawn immobile snails, completely locking out an area. The snails despawn in 30 seconds, but if one of them gets you, they all get you. It doesn't just spawn snails on the ground, they get spawned on the walls, the ceiling, EVERYWHERE. And yes, that includes your own body. The caterpillar spawns 25 snails at a time. So if you see it, stay away from it and just record from a distance. This is one of the rarest monsters in the game and gets you so many views.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"NO, GET AWAY FROM THAT THING!"
This is the drone. While rare, it is extremely dangerous and can literally wipe out everybody with just one attack. You might be wondering, how? Going near it will cause it to begin a countdown. A countdown to what? You ask? A countdown to a black hole. Yes, a black hole. Going near this thing causes it to start counting down from 10. If it reaches 0, a black hole spawns and eats everything. When it starts counting down, run as fast as you possibly can to the diving bell and LEAVE. There is no way to stop it. You can't get close enough to use the shock stick. Just stay away from the drone all together.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
When the ear spots you, it will attack you and will never stop attacking you. Its attack cooldown is very low and the ear is a very fast monster. The shock stick will stun it for a few seconds. However, by far the best way to get rid of this monster is by simply screaming into your microphone. That's right, screaming into your microphone. When it detects very loud sounds it will run away in a panicked state, allowing you to get away.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"NO, DON'T RECORD TOO CLOSE!"
This abomination has many eyes. Shining a light at it will make it become aggressive. When using a camera, don't get too close or it will detect the light from it and attack you. It is passive until a light is shined at it.
🟢 - SAFE TO WALK

"HE JUST THREW ME INTO THE VOID!"
I'm starting to see more and more of this guy. He will harpoon you and slowly drag you closer to him, where he will then yeet you across the map. You could hide behind something, make a big turn while harpooned, or when he drags you in use a shock stick. He really becomes very annoying. I've had multiple runs completely ruined because this guy grabs me and throws me into the void.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"GUYS I WAS SO SCARED THERE WAS THIS RED THING BUT NONE OF YOU SAW IT."
The red monstrosity you see on your screen is called a flicker. It is by far the scariest monster in the game. You'll know it is on the map when the lights flicker. This is the best screenshot I could get, as there was a fan blocking its face. When running under a flickering light there is a chance that he will appear. Eventually, he will appear and will attempt to get you to look at him. Doing so will lock your screen onto him and will cause you to die. You'll know you are going to die in 10 seconds when there are black flashes going across your screen. You have a short moment to alert your buddies of the presence of the flicker and possibly give them your stuff.
🟡 - TREAD CAREFULLY

"Nah, he chillin'."
This monster is very common and can be heard from a mile away because of its footsteps and giggles. It will run at you with a knife and does a decent amount of damage. Using a shock stick will give you enough time to run away, if not, get up some place high where it can't reach you. Be forewarned that it can jump really high. Normally if it can reach you by jumping just dodge out of the way once it jumps.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"I hate this game."
Ah yes, gun dog, my worst enemy. This guy is simple, he is a dog with one thought, KILL. It can spot you from a mile away and shoot you at any time. It is very easily spotted because of the red light that beams from its eyes. Even getting up a high place will get you killed. And don't try to walk behind it, the gun can turn around and shoot you without the dog even looking at you. It is best to view this beast from a distance.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"He stole my f#cking face."
(Sorry for the bad screenshot) The infiltrator is a monster that appears as you or one of your teammates. It will look identical to them except for one thing. It will hold an old flashlight. He walks very npc like too, so that is another way you can identify him. When he has the face of you or one of your teammates, he will be passive. You will know he is aggressive when his face changes to >:). When his face changes, he will attack somebody until you manage to get away from him. You should keep your distance because he can become aggressive at any given time.
🟡 - TREAD CAREFULLY

"I was stuck in that cage watching you all die."
This thing is strange. It will teleport behind you if you are not looking at it constantly. Walking into its jaws will cause it to trap you. The only way to get out is if somebody on the outside enters a code correctly on a screen in front of the trap. They have three attempts and 15 seconds to do so. Stay away from this all together.
🟡 - TREAD CAREFULLY

"HE JUST THREW YOU AT HIM HAHAHAHA!"
This big man goes up to you and chucks you at other players. You can use a shock stick but other than that, it will most likely grab onto somebody. Honestly it is funny seeing this guy.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"A snake? Maybe it's a worm... Oh it's a leech isn't it."
This thing can be very easily passed and when you don't know what you are doing, can get you killed in an instant. It has two heads, meaning it can grab two people at a time. In order to get it off of you you can either A, use a shock stick, or B, have the player on the other end of the leech die. It will fall off if you do either of these. While not doing any damage, it can get you killed. If it has grabbed onto a dead player and then onto you, it will be difficult to move up stairs. Once grabbed on, it basically bonds a player with another. Doesn't sound too bad, but it can get very bad, very fast.
🟢 - SAFE TO WALK

"Wait guys why is bro teleporting?"
Just recently (May 8th) I encountered this guy for the first time. I figured I'd let myself get hit by him one time to see how much damage it does, figuring that I was on day three and had already made quota. This guy insta-kills you. One hit and you are dead. He will slowly move towards you by teleporting closer and closer until he gets you and kills you. I used the shock stick on him and it DOES work. Actually its really funny using the shock stick on him because when he falls because of it he still teleports. All in all when you see this guy, run away as fast as you can.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"Sweet land of liberty it just exploded."
This thing is normally very easy to avoid. It is slow so you could run away, or just run past it entirely. It will walk up to you and wait a while until eventually rapidly expanding its body and dealing damage to you. It is very easy to avoid, just make sure to record it before walking away and probably never seeing it again.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"WAIT, BRING HIM BACK TO ME!!!"
People tend to avoid this one because they don't really know what it does. This slime is your best friend in this game. A guardian angel. When there is danger nearby, it will grab you and Usain Bolt the hell out of there. It doesn't damage you too, so there is that. If you don't want it to grab you, I suggest you bring a shock stick.
🟢 - SAFE TO WALK

"Oh good we got this kid too."
The smiler appears to be a small man with a very large smile, hence the name. From what I've seen, it doesn't attack you. It screams and does nothing other than that. Shining a light into its eyes will make it run away.
🟢 - SAFE TO WALK

"Why are there so many? Dude this is the gang."
This is normally the first monster encounter you get when travelling to the old world. More of an annoyance than a threat really. It is very slow and will follow you to the ends of the earth. Just walk around it or run away to avoid it. If you do find yourself caught by it however, run and spam jump at the same time.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"WHY ARE THERE TWO?"
What you see on your screen in the dark is a snatcher. It will grab you and any item you pull out while grabbed will be dropped. Unlike the slime friend, it is NOT friendly. Shining a light on this creature will make it disappear for a short while. This is why there is no light in the screenshot. Most people think shining a light does not work because when they try it, it doesn't disappear. This is untrue. You have to shine a strong light on its entire body, not just its head, not just its leg, and not just its back door. Other than not being able to see it almost all of the time, you can hear it. It walks and makes moist footsteps, kind of like a seagull's footsteps but sped up.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"I hate these webs bro I'M LITERALLY STUCK HELP."
Completely avoid this thing. It isn't even a problem, it is the webs it leaves behind. They make you extremely slow. A friend of mine got stuck in webs under a starfish. He was soft locked in a constant death loop. If you do find yourself near the spider, use the shock stick. It also isn't fast enough to catch you while you are running. You could also get up someplace high.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"So uhh... can one of you throw something at it or what?"
A starfish that can be found on a ceiling. It sticks out its tongue and drags people in. The only way to get out of its grasp is for somebody else to throw something at it.
🟡 - TREAD CAREFULLY

"Guys look another person! THAT IS NOT A FRIEND, RUN."
The stream sniper is very loud and can be heard from a mile away. You can hear it by its loud footsteps and its constant radio chatter. Equipped with a shock stick, staying away from this guy is your number one goal. If he sees you, he will get you. This guy is FAST. This guy's top priority is to prevent people from achieving success in the form of Spooktube subscribers. He will not start appearing until you begin to get a lot of views. In the top left of the screenshot, you can see I have 270k views and am on week four. This was not the first time I've encountered him on this run. From my experience, he begins to appear on week three at around 80k views. Recording him alone got me 100k views so obviously he is very popular, since he is so dangerous. You can record him, but you risk your run.
🔴 - STAY AWAY

"Wait do you guys see that? Oh dude, why does he walk like that?"
At first, whisk man does not look threatening, but I assure you, he is. He will charge you and if you even have a sliver of HP gone, will insta-kill you. I like to compare this guy to a bull, he doesn't turn while charging so when he charges, just move out of the way and he will get stunned if he hits a wall. Either that or use a shock stick.
