Joshigun: Heroines of Aizu

Something I did to keep busy when Procrastinating a really important work. Tis is a rehash of an old Anton III mod.

Basically, this mod adds two more Hero Units for The Aizu Domain:

1. Nakano Takeko Naginata Joshi tai
"These onna-bushi are loyal to the Aizu domain, bearing fearsome skill with the naginata."

2. Yamamoto Yaeko Rifle Joshi tai
"Wearing Men clothing and carrying deadly American Repeater Rifles, These Onna Bushi shall serve Aizu till the end."

Both were real-life Onna Bushi that fought in the Siege of Aizu-Wakamatsu. Nakano Takeko lead her fellow Aizu Onna Bushi in a charge against Satsuma Shimazu Clan Troops; 7 shots were needed to end her rage in a melee. Yamamoto Yaeko, daughter of Aizu Domain Gunnery Instructor, fought using her Spencer Repeater Rifle, inspiring and lead Aizu soldiers from the front. She survived the war, married an American, founded Woman College in Kyoto, served as a Nurse during 1st Sino-Japanese and Russo-Japanese War, became the first woman outside the Imperial House of Japan to be decorated for her service by the Japanese Government. She died peacefully in 1932 at the age of 86.

The Units pretty much done, but this mod is kind of an half-butted attempt as a mean to do procrastination. So yes, some shoddy texturing and some unexplicable bugs where the bloody Male Engrish speech suddenly rears its ugly voice without reason in the Women Voices.

The Naginata Joshigun may feel underpowered if you play Darth or Radious, so use them in support role with their buff abilities. The Rifle Joshigun in another hand, rip through anything, just keep in mind their ammo supplies.
