Introduction
Introduced in June 2019 and continuing until the release of Rampage alert Unknowable in April 2021, Lemurian Intrigue is Champions Online's first Serial, representing a scaled down version of previous story formats Adventure Packs and Comic Series. For some fairly short bite-size content, the rewards (including SCR, Questionite and unique items) are surprisingly good, especially on first playthrough but also for repeated completion. However, finding the next mission in the chain isn't always straightforward, which is where I hope this guide will be especially helpful.

Lemurian Intrigue is divided into three arcs:
Death Rattle
Serene Abyss
Midnight Depths

When playing serial missions on a character for the first time, there is a 24 hour cooldown until the next mission can be acquired. On subsequent repeats the missions can be played in rapid succession. The three arcs can be completed independent of each other, e.g. you can take and complete From the Shadows (Serene Abyss mission 1) and continue without having finished the Death Rattle arc.

The initial serial missions can be played from level 10, but some require access to Vibora Bay, Rampages etc., making 35+ the minimum to complete it. At lower levels, Silver Champion Recognition rewards are replaced with UNTIL Recognition. I'd recommend saving all serial content for level 40, due to the rewards and the difficulty of some missions.

Difficulty ratings are subjective and intended to be relative to the rest of the serial rather than all content in the game.
Death Rattle
All of the Death Rattle missions can be acquired from Ladyhawke, on the Ravenswood Academy Campus, west of Renaissance Center and north of the big park. She's directly west of the Super Jet.

(Occasionally the mission arrow may instead guide you to Defender's hub area. That's because that's where Ladyhawke was originally placed, before later moving to Ravenswood.)

Lemurian Intrigue: Death Rattle
Wrapper mission. Only available after initial completion of the serial, per character.
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
Rewards: 10 Silver Champion Recognition, 5000 Questionite Ore

Dark Dealings at the Docks
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Magic Imbued Gauntlets
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Spell Deflection 3
Difficulty: *
This first mission sends you to the 24 Hour Warehouse in Westside - it's the one you go to during the Nighthawk event, but this time you enter through a window. Pretty straightforward. Fight some powered-up Cobra Lords, recover a "Strange Pearl" and return it to Ladyhawke.
You'll be directed to a lab in Downtown to turn the mission in. Should you lose track of it, it's the skyscraper slightly north-east of the Barlowe Building - the one with the iconic "Don't let Video Games wreck your kid's life" ad on the side.
(We'll come back to those gauntlets...)

Catching a Wave
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Magic Imbued Aura (Hands)
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 2x Magical Conditioning 3
Difficulty: *
Ladyhawke gives you a Waveform Device, which can be used in most of Westside to locate more pearls. The device must be equipped and activated to detect them. Pearls will give off a distinct visual and audio signal when you're close to one. On interacting with a pearl, a group of Cobra Lords will attack before you can collect it. Once they're defeated, you can safely collect the pearl.
(This was a nightmare on its initial release day with everybody hunting pearls at the same time, with more unscrupulous players being able to steal the pearl while the person who initially found it fought the attackers. You shouldn't have any trouble with it now!)

A.P. Bio
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Magic Explosion Transformation
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 2x Enchanted Fortitude 3
Difficulty: **
The "biotech lab" you're directed to is apparently in the same building as Ladyhawke's lab! On repeat runs you can turn in "Catching a Wave", walk out the door and then walk right back in for the mission.
This is the first real difficulty you'll encounter in the serial, with an actual boss fight, but it shouldn't present too much challenge. Note that you need to rescue the Lead Scientist to unlock the second part of the map (he'll walk to the locked door and open it). If you think you're missing a Cobra Lords group at the end don't worry; the boss counts as one.

Unknowable
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Intriguing Gear Box (grants a set of "Intriguing" secondary gear with Magic/Paranormal damage resistance)
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Enchanted Fortitude 3, 1x Magical Conditioning 3, 1x Spell Deflection 3
Difficulty: ****
Not to be confused with... Unknowable, the Rampage you have to complete for "A Bigger Brig"...!
Initially directing you to an underwater entrance in Westside, Death Rattle's climax takes you through a portal to an UNTIL moon base. You'll need to find the two Crystal Batteries to remove the barrier and confront the boss. This is where things start to get genuinely challenging, and weaker builds might want to seek a teammate, especially for this second boss fight against Hydrophis. The most important thing is not to get caught in his Dimensional Collapse AoE - ideally fight him from a distance and be prepared to lunge at him in order to dodge the AoE, or make use of your travel power.
Serene Abyss
Lemurian Intrigue: Serene Abyss
Wrapper mission. Only available after initial completion of the serial, per character.
From: Dr. Ka, Mods & Fusion Building
Rewards: 10 Silver Champion Recognition, 5000 Questionite Ore

A Mystical Visitor
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
Only available first time.
This directs you to the lab in Downtown, where you're introduced to Dr. Ka.

From the Shadows
From: Dr. Ka, Lab or Mods & Fusion Building
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Melee Weapon Aura: Sorcery (Right)
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Sleight of Hand 3
Difficulty: ****
Dr. Ka directs you to a building Downtown, which on the inside looks like the standard Vibora Bay gothic mansion. You'll fight through New Shadows until you reach our surprise guest villain: Talisman. At several health milestones during the fight, she'll become nontargetable and summon a group of New Shadows, which you'll have to defeat to resume fighting her.
This is likely the hardest fight in the serial to date, especially to do solo. There's no shame in seeking help for this, and you will occasionally see people in Zone seeking teammates. But even solo, getting defeated repeatedly just means you can wear her down bit by bit; she doesn't recover to full health. Once again, it's mostly a matter of outrunning her powerful AoE attack (and it's Dimensional Collapse again!).

Shadows in Sunlight
From: Dr. Ka, Mods & Fusion Building (or From the Shadows instance in repeat runs)
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Mystical Smoke Transformation
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Magnificent Display 3
Difficulty: **
Back to the open world, as Dr. Ka sends you to deal with New Shadows around various locations in Millennium City. (For longtime players, it's kind of a fun novelty just seeing them outside Vibora Bay.) You're looking for the circles on the map, and the little spheres that will spawn New Shadows when you get close enough. There are several spawn points around Club Caprice, so you shouldn't need to travel very far.
The "From the Shadows" building is a hotspot for New Shadows spawns, so in a repeat you can do both in quick succession!

Break the Walls Down
From: Radio, Renaissance Center Hub
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Blood Pulse Aura
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Perception Core 3
Difficulty: ***
This mission is granted by the small radio ("Listen to Distress Call"), next to UNTIL Liaison Irwin in the Renaissance Center central hub (where Defender stands). Nothing will directly point you to it, and this is probably the most frequently asked question regarding the serial. You're welcome.

Dr. Ka is trapped in the Museum of Natural History, but you can't immediately reach him and will have to go the long way round. Pretty straightforward.

A Life in Hiding
From: Dr. Ka, Mods & Fusion Building (on repeat this is automatically granted on completing Break the Walls Down)
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Bleak Essence (device)
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Perception Core 3, 1x Sleight of Hand 3, 1x Magnificent Display 3
Difficulty: **
This mission requires access to Vibora Bay, i.e. your character should be level 34+ and at least one character on your account needs to have completed Vibora Bay Apocalypse.
This is more of a basic puzzle-solving type of mission, as you and Ladyhawke search a mansion for clues. Just look out for the usual glowing items and you won't have any difficulty. A boss fight (Charybdis) brings Serene Abyss to its cliffhanger ending.
Midnight Depths
There is no wrapper mission for Midnight Depths. (I assume this is because the arc includes group content, i.e. War on Peace and Unknowable, and the intention is for the daily missions to be immediately available.)

After These Messages...
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
An intro mission guiding you to WCOC, where you'll get the actual mission from Dr. Ka...

Air Waves
From: Dr. Ka, WCOC
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Lemurian Gaze Aura
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Sleight of Hand 3
Difficulty: **
Clear out the side rooms, make your way to the studio, and uncover Graknash's true identity. Prepare to be attacked immediately after the final cutscene. Otherwise, nothing here should trouble an experienced player.

By the Books
From: Ladyhawke, Ravenswood Academy Campus
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Bubbles Aura
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Magnificent Display 3
Difficulty: ***
The first part of this mission entails completing the "War on Peace" Open Mission, found in the peace gardens in eastern Downtown. This may require reaching out for help in Zone chat; three or more strong characters should be able to finish it easily enough. As this OM was fairly recently overhauled and has good rewards, it's not too hard to find people for it. You might see other people seeking players for War on Peace as well.
(Note: People like to write the name of the OM as an acronym... not realising, I assume, that it's a slur... which gets caught by the profanity filter... So you may want to disable the filter or look out for people seeking assistance for "%#$".)
War on Peace itself is simple enough: defeat the waves of attacking Lemurians, ensure the friendly Lemurians survive to the end. The later waves especially can be intense, and underpowered characters may struggle to both stay alive and score enough to qualify for completion. You must meet the minimum score (10,000?) to advance the serial mission.
On successfully completing War on Peace, there's a popup message from Ladyhawke and you're directed to the next part of the mission: A secret library in the south of Downtown (near the Great Beast Bookstore). Prepare yourself for... reading. Locate the shiny interactible books on the shelves, one per section, and Ladyhawke will read them aloud to you. Using the "Skip Dialogue" crystal by the door will speed this along a bit, you just have to wait for her to keep up with you.
Finding all four books (which is part of the mission) unlocks the Lore perk "The Unknowable Threat".
After finding the last book, a group of Lemurians will appear and immediately attack from the door. On clearing the group, By the Books is done.

Off the Hook
From: Acquired automatically when available (Ladyhawke at Ravenswood Academy Campus for repeats)
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 2000 Questionite Ore, Piranhas Aura
Rewards (repeat): 3 Silver Champion Recognition, 500 Questionite Ore, 1x Magnificent Display 3
Difficulty: ***
Travel to Lemuria (via the submarine on Monster Island, requires level 34+) and enter a hidden temple. Find the shrines and defeat the Zealots so Dr. Ka can drain power from them. Watch out for the enemies that attack immediately after Dr. Ka drains a shrine. Zorran reappears for a boss fight at the end. Straightforward but enemies and Zorran in particular can hit pretty hard; may be easier with a team for weak characters.

A Bigger Brig
From: Dr. Ka, Mods & Fusion Building
Rewards (first time): 5 Silver Champion Recognition, 8000 Questionite Ore, Eerie Presence Aura
Rewards (repeat): 3000 Questionite Ore
Difficulty: ***
You've made it to the finale. Note the much greater Questionite reward for this mission.
Optionally, you may talk to King Arvad in the Mandragalore first. This is just a cutscene. Helpfully, there's a "Skip Cutscenes" option when the only reason to go here is to watch the cutscene.
The main event is to queue for the Unknowable Rampage (not to be confused with the mission Unknowable we did back in Death Rattle). Unknowable was introduced as the finale of this serial, replacing the generally disliked Lemurian Invasion in the Rampage rotation.
There are four Rampages in rotation, and they change every three days. That means Unknowable is available three days out of twelve. To put it another way, if you just missed it, it'll be back in nine days. To see the monthly alerts schedule, press J and click on "Alerts Schedule".
Rather than queue and get a random assortment of roles, players will normally form a private queue for this (and a couple of the other Rampages). Private queues are announced in Millennium City Zone chat and in TheEndGame, and meet by the entrance to Mercy Hospital (the respawn point north of Renaissance Center). This is by far the easiest way to get into an instance of Unknowable and have a balanced team capable of completing it.
It's a fairly simple boss battle: Defeat The Unknowable One (a giant shark). When its skin gains a shimmering effect, this is a damage reflect and you should stop hitting it. The tank should then pull the Unknowable One to the "Magic Bomb" that spawns, with the DPS detonating the bomb by hitting it once the shark is there.
The mysterious threat is finally defeated... But what did happen to Zorran?
The Future
According to comments made by Cryptic devs during the official livestreams, there will be a continuation of the Zorran storyline, and it will be a lair. This appears to have been on the development backburner for some time. I believe the last time it was mentioned, Ambassador Kael said that he'd like for it to happen in 2024, but that was before the announcement that DECA Games was taking over development of the game. It was not mentioned in the "All Fans, All Hands" livestream which instead announced new content for events in 2024.
Appendix A: Magic Imbued Gauntlets
Yes, what about those gauntlets from the first mission?

Go to Monster Island and talk to the "Lemurian Refugee" NPC near the jet. Through them you can upgrade the Magic Imbued Gauntlets to Improved Magic Imbued Gauntlets and then Potent Magic Imbued Gauntlets, making them stronger and potentially a much better choice for the device tray.

Improved Magic Imbued Gauntlets
Requires a crafting skill (any) of 300+ to purchase
5,000 Questionite, 20 Crystallos Shard, 10 Emissive Crystallos Shard

Potent Magic Imbued Gauntlets
Requires a crafting skill (any) of 400+ to purchase
Requires previous upgrade
50,000 Questionite, 50 Crystallos Shard, 20 Emissive Crystallos Shard, 10 Scintillating Crystallos Shard

Crystallos Shards and Emissive Crystallos Shards can drop from Lemurians. Scintillating Crystallos Shards are a rare drop from Vikorin the Blind.
