Speedrunner Perspective on Speedreader

The Power of Pause
Luckily, the Speedreader achievement relies on the in-game timer rather than a real-time timer, so you do not actually have to be a speedrunner to get the achievement. Instead of memorizing the speedrun route fully, you can hit `ESC` and refer to the videos below for a given section of a route.

Keep in mind that pausing will cause you to lose momentum in your movement, so best spots will be pausing around where you have to stop rather than pausing as you are walking or sprinting.
Explanation of the Speedrun
Here is a(n incomplete) explanation of the 100% speedrun in video form. The routes are slightly different from the fastest time, but the commentary should help you understand the minute details to keep in mind for an efficient time.

(Go to 3:40 to skip the Any% explanation)
Speedrun
Here is a full no commentary speedrun that does not rely on any complex glitches. (This is the fastest 100% speedrun on the capped 60 FPS category.) You can follow the route in this video, and you will have about 5-6 minutes to spare on subpar movement or missing the dunk.

Again, I recommend pausing around when the runner stops, but you can pause earlier or around certain journals if that makes the route easier for you. You should have ample time to spare.

Thanks, I was dreading this achievement. But I got it first try with your tips and the speedrun video.
