Download & install Epic Launcher: https://launcher-public-service-prod06.ol.epicgames.com/launcher/api/installer/download/EpicGamesLauncherInstaller.msi
After install: close the Launcher/Update-Window
Start Dead Island 2(best with fresh Install) and close the update EOS-Update-Window ->
the game starts as itended and epic services are working
Close the Game and uninstall epic games launcher (NOT EOS)

Now you can play Dead Island 2 with working online services and without epic games launcher.
