This is my first guide so don't judge me! :)

1. Open your Steam Console:

Open Steam.
Press Win + R
Type
steam://open/console
Press Ok

2. Download depot file:

Copy this to your Steam console:
download_depot 1537830 1537831 1804243221938080232
Press Enter
Wait... it's 14kMB... (Don't type anything else)

3. When downloaded,

- It shows you where the previous version of the game has been downloaded (depot files)
- It's something like this: Depot download complete : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1537830\depot_1537831"

- Delete (or change location) all the game files from the originally install folder and copy&paste all the content from depot folder to that install folder.
- Game install folder is usually:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DisneySpeedstorm

- Delete (or change location) old game save file: My Documents > Gameloft -folder.
- Download (old save file of mine) from this link:

- Copy & Paste downloaded "Gameloft" -folder to My Documents -folder.

My save file has been played up to level 3, local Multiplayer has been opened, nothing else. But all game characters are available in offline mode!

- Select the game in steam
- Select the "manage" cog wheel on the right side
- Select "properties" in the menu
- Select "updates"
- under automatic updates, select "update game only on startup"

- You can go offline mode from steam everytime OR you can block internet connection from windows firewall (for game .exe file) -> it goes offline automatically. Don't need to go offline from steam. (Use google if you don't know how to do it, it's easy)
- Steam Offline: when Steam is open: point to "steam" in the upper left corner, click on it and select go offline from the menu that opens.
- Launch the game from Steam -> enjoy the game like before!

- the game asks for it if you are online. If you update, you have to do everything from the beginning if you want to use all the characters again. But if you want to go back to the new version and play in Online mode, you just update the game and let it go.

You have to do this again every time after a mandatory update. So it's worth keeping those depot files somewhere so you don't have to download them again. Just replace the updated game files from the steam folder with the same depot files before opening the game. You will probably also need to replace the save file.

- i.e. back up the depot files and My documents Gameloft folder and do steps 2 and 3 again every time after the update.
