How to disable controller so you can play other games while afk farming (needs to be done everytime you open the game)

1.Open the game

2. Open Device manager and find your controller , mine is a ps5 controller and is listed as HID-compliant game controller.

3. Rightclick and disable the controller

Test in game if you actually disabled it.

4. Re-enable the controller and now the game should not be able to detect it anymore and you can go play other games normally.

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS EVERYTIME YOU CLOSE AND REOPEN SUMMONERS WAR

For me I just open the steam overlay (shift + tab by default) in SW because I'm a lazy cat, and that works perfectly.

I've found another fix for me, using Steam Input you can go in community control mapping for SW and use an input mapping that basically has none of the controller buttons mapped, so it won't interact with the game at all.

turning on power saving mode while farming seems to make my xbox controller not take inputs in SW

OMG!!!! DUDE, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was getting annoyed that I couldn't play other games with SW open. You saved me from an incredible headache. WORKS 100000000000000%

Doesn't work for me, SW redetects my controller after enabling it back.
