Legendary Fish Map:

Bharati Grizzly Bear (Legendary) - Endemic to O'Creagh's Run, in the Grizzlies East. This bear is larger than any other that has been spotted in the region. The distinctive scars across its face and body make this creature easily identifiable. As an omnivore, its diet ranges from berries, roots, and grasses to deer, elk, fish, and carrion. Long range weapons like a long scope rifle, or a Bow with Improved Arrows, will give you the advantage when hunting this animal. Killing this animal will give you the opportunity to craft a rare talisman.

Northern Pike (Legendary) - Also known as "The Great Tyrant" can be found in the waters near O'Creagh's Run. It can be caught with Hamish Sinclair as part of The Veteran II Stranger Side Mission quest. Special Lake Lures are considered to be the best way to attract this fish. Like other Pike, this fish becomes more active when the weather is overcast and gray. Locals have estimated the size of this Legendary Pike to be around fifty inches long and weighing in at over forty pounds.

Sockeye Salmon (Legendary) - Can be found in Lake Isabella. Fishermen have reported that the best way to attract this fish is with either Special Lake Lures or River Lures on an overcast day. Rumors suggest that the size of this Sockeye Salmon could be around fifty inches long and weighing over fifty pounds. This is one of the 13 Legendary Fish required to be caught for the A Fisher of Fish Stranger Side Mission quest, which count as Collectibles needed for 100% Completion.

White Bison (Legendary) - Endemic to the northern mountains of Ambarino. This albino bison can be easily distinguished by the color of its hair. As an herbivore, it grazes on grains, hay, and corn. Due to the large size of the bison, high impact weapons are considered the best for hunting this animal. The ideal weapon is either a Bow with Improved Arrows or a long scope rifle. Killing this animal will give you the opportunity to craft a rare talisman.

Wolf (Legendary) - Endemic to the Grizzlies. The larger size of this wolf, and the distinguishable brown and black fur, make this animal easily recognizable compared to other wolves in the area. As a carnivore, its diet consists of deer, mountain goats, as well as smaller animals like birds, beavers and fish. A Bow with Poison Arrows, or a rifle, is considered to be the best weapon to hunt this animal with. Killing this animal will give you the opportunity to craft a rare trinket.

Notable People:
Flaco Hernandez:

Hernandez was an infamous outlaw and gunslinger who rode with a gang of 10 men. During his career, he launched many raids against Valentine, Strawberry, and Annesburg. His many criminal exploits led to him being wanted in eight states, and earned him his own nickname, "The Terror of The Grizzlies". He also earns a bounty in 8 states. By 1899, he was associated with the Del Lobo Gang.

Hamish Sinclair:

Hamish was a soldier for the US army during the American Civil War and lost his right leg to a cannonball in battle. His commander was named Buell, after whom Hamish would later name his horse.

Micah Bell:

Micah Bell III was born circa 1860 to Micah Bell Jr., a ruthless petty outlaw. When Micah was 17, in 1877, he and his father were on the run for the brutal double homicide of Roscoe and Jean Briggs, who were hung from the rafters with their throats slit. It can be assumed that he was his father's partner-in-crime throughout his upbringing, although evidence suggests that he also ran with his brother, Amos, for a time. Micah would later have a falling out with Amos, who, by 1899, is repentant of his actions and lives in California with his wife and daughters, whilst making it clear to Micah that he wants no contact with him, threatening to kill him if he's anywhere near himself and his family.

Micah became acquainted with two outlaws named Cleet and Joe at some point during his criminal career, and also mentions being involved in a failed bank robbery down south with a man named Norman.

In 1898, Micah met Dutch van der Linde at a bar in a town in the Grizzlies named Crenshaw Hills. Dutch had tried to sell gold that his gang had recently stolen, but the deal went sour, leading to an altercation in which Micah stepped in and saved Dutch's life. As a result, Micah was accepted into the Van der Linde gang. Despite being an experienced outlaw who was respected for his skill in combat, Micah was generally disliked within the gang; in particular, Arthur and Hosea saw him as argumentative, reckless and hotheaded, with Dutch alone taking a liking to him.

After five months, Micah set his sights on a ferry in Blackwater as a potential robbery. Although Arthur and Hosea had their own lead, Dutch instead chose Micah's option, which promised a bigger reward but was also riskier. The heist turned out to be a complete disaster, however, and a huge gun battle with the Pinkertons ensued. Due to this, the gang was forced to flee and eventually managed to lose the law by entering a blizzard on the snowy mountains of Ambarino. Unfortunately, both Jenny Kirk and Davey Callander were fatally injured, and Mac Callander was captured and killed by Pinkertons.

Rains Fall:

Sometime prior to 1899, Rains Fall was named Chieftain of the Wapiti Indians. As a young man, he fought for his tribe, though he later became a pacifist. Rains Fall had signed three treaties with the United States government as of 1899, two of which had already been broken, while the third consigned his tribe to live on the Wapiti Indian Reservation. Rains Fall also had a wife and two sons; his elder son had his head smashed by a drunken soldier and his wife had her throat slit, also by a soldier. Only his younger son, Eagle Flies, lived.

Jake Adler:

Jake married a woman named Sadie on September 7th, 1896. The two lived on a ranch, northeast of the abandoned site of Colter in Ambarino. The couple shared the work on the ranch evenly, and their marriage was stable. Sadie regarded him as the best man she ever met.

Sadie Adler:

Adler is a member of the Van der Linde Gang. Sadie a widow hell-bent on taking revenge upon the men who broke into her home and killed her husband, Jake. She grew up on the harsh land in the mountains and can ride, hunt and shoot. She and Jake shared all the work on their farm until her whole life was taken from her in an instant, launching her on a relentless quest for vengeance. Tough, dogged and afraid of nothing and no one, Sadie is the wrong woman to cross - but very loyal to those she loves.
Notable Secrets:

Gangs & Factions:
This region primarily consists of only one known faction of people, the native Indians to the region.

The Wapiti Indians are a tribe of Native Americans who roamed The Heartlands of New Hanover. After fighting with American settlers and the United States government through years of conflict, the Wapiti society was significantly weakened. The chief, Rains Fall, signed a treaty with the government, but it would later be broken, along with another signed afterward. A third treaty was agreed upon, which moved the Wapiti Indians to a Reservation in Ambarino.

Despite this, the tribe continued to face animosity from the US Army. Due to the land underneath the reservation allegedly being rich in oil, the business tycoon Leviticus Cornwall made an agreement with Colonel Favours, who oversaw the tribe, to drive the Indians off the land and thus begin drilling for oil there. Implied to be partly in order to make up for his lackluster career in the Civil War, Favours agreed and began taking underhand measures to evict the Wapiti Indians once more.
