It has come to my attention that I may not be the only one having this issue with the game, so here you go: If you're having a hard time reading or getting through the dialogue, don't worry! It's normal. It's not a bug or anything. It's just that the game is actually so well done that it starts summoning forth tears very quickly, and thus you cannot see the screen.

And while this condition is chronic and forever (curse humanity), you don't have to worry because there's actually a very simple solution: simply wipe your eyes, take a deep breath, and smile. You should be able to continue the game after you've done this, and feel free to do this series of actions as many times necessary.
