100% Fade or Full Fade
There are 1,000 different seed pattern variations of the Fade finish, numbered from 0 to 999. Each of the seeds carries a distinct Fade percentage ranging from a minimum of 80% to a maximum of 100%. The seed also determines the ratio of the Fade colors, which are yellow, pink, and purple, that will be present on the blade of the Gut Knife Fade. On most Fade knives, including the Gut, a part of the blade remains unpainted at lower Fade percentages. This has the effect of keeping the value of the knife at the market average or in some cases, slightly below it. At 90% levels of Fade, the complete blade is covered with the Fade pattern, with yellow and pink in the majority, but a significant part of the tip is covered in purple as well, which is the most valued in the Fade finish. Such knives can be good value for money if you can find them close to the market value. Fade seed patterns 763, 575, 897, and 636 are at the very top, offering the maximum Fade percentages, with around 20% of the top of the blade being covered in the coveted purple. These patterns are valued well above the market average, both due to their rarity, as well as the Fade level they offer.

The float values on Gut-Knife Fade go between 0.00 to 0.08. This makes it only available in factory new or minimal wear

On higher floats scratches appear on the back of the knife as well as the point. They also appear under the start of the handle.

Try to get as good float as possible on the knife, it really makes a difference.
