Config+Tweaks

This (mostly) removes the blur without turning the game into a pixelated mess, and has slightly better performance (5-10% gain)

How to install:
1: Copy %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\TT2\Saved\Config\Windows to your file explorer
2: Open engine.ini (the other files dont need to be changed)
3: Copy the block of text starting with [/script/engine.renderersettings] in there and save
4: Right click the game in steam->Properties
5: Copy -dx12 into launch options, under general properties

[/script/engine.renderersettings]
r.TSR.Velocity.WeightClampingSampleCount=2.5
r.SSR.HalfResSceneColor=1
r.TranslucencyLightingVolumeDim=4
r.SeparateTranslucency=0
r.SceneColorFormat=3
r.DBuffer=0
r.SupportDepthOnlyIndexBuffers=1
r.SupportReversedIndexBuffers=0

==Graphics tweaks (Brings graphics quality above vanilla)
r.VolumetricCloud=0
^Disables clouds, Extremely large (+25%) performance gain, Optimization, not a graphics improvement
r.ScreenPercentage=66-100
^Boost resolution above the vanilla 66% (Slow, but can be turned down instead of up for weak devices)
r.SSR.Quality=3
^High quality reflections (Mid-fast)
r.ForceLOD=0
r.ForceLODShadow=1
^High quality models far away (Mid-fast)
r.MaxAnisotropy=16
r.MipMapLODBias=-1
^High quality textures (Fast)
r.AntiAliasingMethod=1
^For if somehow the normal config didnt do the trick for dealing with the blur (No cost, has visual quality issues but still beats most guides)
Settings
You may assume epic is the best quality available, you would be wrong.

Medium view distance stretches past the horizon line as this is determined by the engine, not the dev.

Clutter distance is self explanatory

Your choice on post processing (Low if you dont want vignette, Medium if you do, High and Epic dont do anything in terratech as they relate to unreal engine functions that arent enabled here.)

Shadow quality is self explanatory

Texture quality should be set to epic, it costs almost nothing.

Effect quality determines a few subtle effects like water and reflection quality.

Cloud quality determines if the clouds are a grainy mess or not. Its better to use the config to disable clouds than turn them down to lowest.

Thank you for this, not sure if all of them worked but something here did improve my framerate massively! I find that cloud quality lower than medium does look awful however, despite being on medium my framerate is good now.

I don't think this works anymore. The .ini file, along most of the other files in that folder, are being deleted/moved by the game, so the settings are not sticking.

Youre a lifesaver! This MASSIVELY improved my performance! Its actually playable now! Any chance you have sripts for disabling fog? I think thats the only issue left performance wise, everything else worked like a charm! Thank you!!!!

Bottom because i don't know if the game need something else loaded in first but the game changes the file even with read only mode.

Did you install it at the top of your engine.ini?
