Stanga is an extraterrestrial creature made of a black sludge-like substance. When conjoined into a single location, the sludge hardens into the top half of a body with black skin and arms with three long fingers on each hand. The middle of the torso to the center of the head is hollow, which leaks out flames.

Being an entity of pure evil, Stanga is a ruthless, cruel, vicious, sadistic, manipulative, barbaric, tyrannical and monstrous being that has no love or respect for any kind of life. He eventually proved to be a murderous tyrant who had no qualms about destroying life on other worlds on his quest to rule the universe, killing the weak as he sees inferior.

Stanga is extremely powerful, as shown that he can turn an ordinary human into an Angh'ar, can create alien beings and control them by his own will, can corrupt people's minds, can distort reality around him and can manipulate fire, darkness and matter. He can also bestow immortality to his pawns, such as Dr. Betruger. He cannot be killed by any other conventional means.
