How to kick. (Hint) It's likely a skill issue on your part!

Now now, don't get cross with me, for I too have been struggling with this enraging mechanic for quite a while!

In fact, the reason behind my choice to write this guide is due to my very own failure to get the kick to work when I need it to! After an unreasonable amount of time, I've finally managed to get it right!

It's actually quite simple once you realize what you're supposed to do:
  1. Flicking the joystick, rather than pressing down on a direction.
  2. Hitting R Trigger before flicking.

It takes some practice, but you'll eventually be able to kick like nobody's business!

Hopefully, this guide helps at least one unfortunate soul to avoid going hollow because you accidentally kicked Pontiff Sulyvahn instead of dealing the finishing blow .
