Galactic Skybox

Beskrivning
Milky Way galaxy starfield
- the visible starfield observed from our solarsystem , skybox aligned with the galactic plane

Default lighting settings
- original sun position, brightness and shadows, removed white environmental fog

Alternative Recommendations:
- Navigational Galaxy skybox : ambient deep space galactic setting with custom lighting
- New Eden Skybox collection : galactic skyboxes with colorfull nebula from Eve Online

this is just what i have been looking for i just have one thing, could you make it brighter, thank you it bugs the crap out of me that no space game or show/movie has this even thought this is what it woukd actually look like

Color depth is pretty bad on this one - I suspect the texture compression is at fault. (tons of banding)

Its not bad but looks somewhat blurry, as if looking at starfield from within atmosphere, the brightness of the "black"between stars on the starfield appears to high too.

did you have any other mods loaded? any speed increasement mods perhaps?
Try putting the skybox mod above other mods in the mods-list, that way this skybox will overload any other skybox related mods (the speed enhancements are also skybox related mods)

It was selected in my mods, but do not change the skybox in the game.

Does it not load at all or do you have any other complications? Because it is working here although there is still the fog-issue that i havent fixed yet.

Having an issue recently where the default fog is still on, when it worked properly before. Did keen do something with an unpdate?

Can i request a skybox? there is a skybox in homeworld 2 where there is a wreck of a huge ship, the main aspect of the remains is the huge turret part floating.

I love the skybox. I use it on my dedicated server at se.powersofwar.com:8081 and have used it exclusivly. My only request is that it is a very small mod as it is. Is ther anyway you can sharpen the image up or put in a high def copy? Everyone loves it but we would all like to see it more crisp!
