A simple, two(ish) step guide on how to play this game on Arch linux. if you have another distro... eh distro choice doesn't matter you should be fine no matter what

I SWEAR TO GOD CHECK AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT DRIVERS FOR YOUR CARD

(This advice is for newer linux users, but still valid)

Step two: choose proton experimental

Right click on Gigantic in library
Click properties
Click compatibility
Click checkmark that says "force use of specific steam play compatibility tool"
Select Proton experimental

If neither of these two options fix it... sorry boss. If you find a solution not listed here, message me and I'll add it

for newer linux users ALWAYS check protondb.com for how to actually run games that are on steam most of the time though it will always be just enabling proton but some older games may require older versions of proton to install the dependencies that are needed
